Of course the SEC's blueblood basketball schools are ranked higher but Missouri, Alabama, and LSU all have better programs historically. Sad.
It must be depressing knowing the biggest accomplishment in their entire history was matched by Mussleman in only his second year at Arkansas. And on top of that the coach who took you there currently coaches at another SEC school and has them top 5 on the path to win the regular season title.
If any of you guy know any vols fans IRL please reach out to them and let them know everything is going to be alright. They are having a rough go of things right now. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers especially after Arkansas ruins there perfect home record Saturday.
That is all.

Discovering Tennessee actually occupies real estate in the minds of pig fans has been odd.

Our game is Saturday don’t you think it’s a little early for a melt?

It's a seller's market. Cash in while it's hot.

I'm just a compassionate person I guess.
It's ok, it's not your fault.

Arkansas has this game in the bag. They only lose to unranked teams.

I don’t think you know what a “melt” is.

It's not like we play this week with an SEC Title potentially at stake.
Shut up.

Wow. Tennessee is really in the head of Arkansas fans. That's weird because I rarely think about Arkansas.

Tennessee being a significantly better basketball program than Arkansas for the last 25~ years really has you boys down bad.

Arkansas: 10 including 2022
Round of 32 appearances:
Tennessee: 8
Arkansas: 4
Sweet Sixteen appearances:
Tennessee: 6
Arkansas: 1
Elite 8 appearances:

Arkansas: 1
Conference championships:

More weeks ranked:
Tennessee
Consistently schedules and beats marquee teams: Tennessee (Kansas, Gonzaga, Arizona, North Carolina, Kentucky, Purdue, Florida, etc)
Consistently schedule like cowards and cant win away from Bud Walton: Arkansas
Tennessee has literally been better than Arkansas in every measurable metric for decades. Go pop a VHS in your VCR and have your papaw tell you about the old days that anyone under 25 has only heard about through oral tradition.
You're living in the past while we're focusing on the present. You're not even a Top 75 basketball program this century

Also please list the TN basketball players in the NBA bigger than Bobby Portis, Patrick Beverly, Daniel Gafford or Moses Moody?

Tobias Harris...at least if you go off of points per game, he's bigger than all of them.
I get it...Tennessee isn't a great program...they are like a more successful version of Arkansas football.

Yeah... I don't think you want to bring Football into this. Recent history really won't solve the argument for either school.

Bobby Portis, Patrick Beverly, Daniel Gafford or Moses Moody?
- Tobias Harris is the best player out of both schools guys in the NBA
- Grant Williams (24 minutes per game, 8 PPG) is basically the same as Gafford (21 minutes per game, 9 PPG)
- Josh Richardson averages 25 minutes and 10 PPG
- Keon Johnson is averaging 10 mins and 4 PPG (Moses averages 10 mins and 3 PPG). Both were 1st round picks.
So.....pretty much the same as you guys?

Yeah, you're right. If I got dominated in all 3 sports by Arkansas, I wouldn't think about them either.
