Fayetteville is awesome. I’ve been to two Arkansas games. The atmosphere is great. The fans are rowdy and very proud of their surroundings. Arky fans are a blast and very welcoming. Plus, NW Arkansas can’t be beat. Dickson Street is awesome as well. Great food joints and bars.
I know there are a lot of Arky fans who don’t like OU because of the fans and I can understand their sentiments. But I enjoy Arkansas fans. I rag on them here and in person from time to time because I know some personally. All in all, it’s fun back and forth.

Arkansas doesn't hate Oklahoma because of the lack of history. Now they do hate Texas and Ole Miss.

You get hatred in Western Arkansas because we've all spent time around numerous OU fans. Obnoxious bunch.
I have only ever met one person who attended the University of Oklahoma (while working in Dallas), although I've encountered many dozens of "OU fans" throughout my entire life.
Eastern Oklahoma is your answer.

That is probably a pretty good answer however I think Arkansas also resents Oklahoma because despite the fact that the two states are similar Arkansas doesn't come close to matching Oklahoma's success in football. This despite the fact that the Razorbacks match or exceed OU in many other sports programs and have better facilities in most other sports.
Conversely, Oklahoma fans outside of eastern Oklahoma don't really have Arkansas on their radar too much. But the eastern Oklahoma fans do because Arkansas cities are basically their hub and Tulsa has quite a Hog presence.
This will end up emerging as a really good rivalry in the SEC. Won't be long until even western Oklahomans hate Hogs and Delta Arkansans hate OU.

Sure you have. We don't play each other but you've all got tons of experience with Sooner fans. Sounds legit

Sooner fans are born Sooner fans and raised Sooner fans long before they decide when or where they go to college. This is irrelevant and not a thing.
However, Dallas has one of our largest out of state alumni bases (maybe THE largest) and has for decades, so this doesn't seem legit either.

It will be a lot better rivalry than what Oklahoma State gave Oklahoma. Arkansas is a good football program when they have the right important people in place. Sam Pittman is the best coach since Ken Hatfield. Yep including Petrino who has too many coaching flaws to be a serious contender in the SEC.
