Saban seems to like hard workers and can hit the recruiting trail hard.

I have never been impressed with our WRs though, apart from Julio. But Julio has insane talent. I can't imagine how much of a threat he would have been at Oklahoma.

I love watching the Jet's D. I hope they CRUSHHHH the Steeler's in Pittsburgh. Still, I think Green Bay is gonna win it all.

I believe LT will be that type of coach, but slowly grows into the developmental aspect of the position...

If we bring in a guy a Super Bowl winning coach (although he is an assistant and not a main coach). 17 and 18 year old kids would go crazy.
Then again Weiss is @ UF.

I still hold firm to the style of offense as a reason, plus despite JPW and GMAC's success, they weren't the best QBs out there.
Julio wasn't used to his full potential, they never took advantage of his leaping ability and hardly threw to him in stride downfield.

It is, Saban and Ryan share a lot of stuff too.
GB does have the most rounded team out of the 4 left, but you never know what could happen...

If you remember the All-Access Alabama with Saban in his office, he had a Jets playbook with "Rex Ryan" written on the side.

Yep, I've actually seen vice versa in Ryan's office too.

I'd love to see Saban and Ryan hang out together
Rex likes feet and Saban probably likes the dominatrix type of stuff. You know, the "process".

Until they ask "what did you do again."

It would be a good hire due to Mobile recruiting connections, but I would not support it. It is a well established fact that Martin was being paid while at UT. Statute of limitations is all that prevented punishment.
EXPLETIVE NO!!!
We don't need no dang stinkin' ORANGE!

I just can't see their personalities mixing, yet apparently they are good family friends

I agree. I don't like that we'd be hiring a guy who absolutely got away with NCAA violations as a player.
Yea,
Lord knows Alabama doesn't want players who have violated any NCAA rules.....

Since when is Lance Taylor on our list?
Since he was a grad assistant under Saban in 2007, and looks to be a very good up and coming assistant coach. Plus, he was an Alabama player and has deep connections in the high schools ranks of Alabama.

Well, McElwain has yet to have OU's QB talent at Alabama. He had JPW for a season, and got him to the NFL, where he still is. He turned McElroy into the most efficient QB in Alabama history. McElwain cathces a lot of shite, because of the inconsistency of the offense, but I'd like to wait and see a QB fully develop under him.

I mean, after all, David Hobbs had Tyrone Beaman on his staff back in the '90s, and that worked out pretty well, didn't it?

when I first read the headline, the above is why I thought he'd fit right in at the capstone.
