This just isn't true at all. UGA, Bama, Texas, LSU, A&M, Tenn and OM all have as much or more talent than OU. Mizzou doesn't on paper but actually have a coach who did it in the league last year.

OU has a talented roster but has some deficiencies namely their OL of which they lost basically all of what they had last year.

In the nearly 20 years since either Texas or Oklahoma has won a national title 5 SEC teams and 4 of those have won more than 1 national title....since either Texas or Oklahoma has. There is FAR more to the SEC than UGA and Alabama. Since the CFP started the SEC is 16-6 and 2 of those losses came to another SEC team. Oklahoma and Texas and the entirety of any conferences they have belonged to in that time are 1-4 in those games and the one with the 1 win ain't Texas or Oklahoma.

Since 2005 Texas and Oklahoma has been about as good combined as Auburn....and have not been close to UGA, Alabama. LSU or Florida.

Texas and Oklahoma both have had the likes of Baylor and TCU and K State and Texas Tech instead of Alabama. UGA, LSU. Tennessee. Florida. Auburn and even Ole Miss, Kentucky and South Carolina. Ya'll have been playing high quality Georgia 5A high school teams about 80% of the time in the Big 12.

How many Natty's does LSU, Auburn and UGA have if not for Nick Saban? UGA for certain has one more, arguably would have one more from 2012 and arguably one of a 3 peat last year. LSU certainly has had some damn good teams in the last 20 years or so who lost to Alabama kept them out of the mix, no? Auburn also most likely.

Alabama treated the SEC like its bitch BUT many of those years the second best team in the SEC was better than the best team in the nation not named Alabama. While Alabama has won a bunch at least a couple of those titles would have gone to another SEC team if Alabama would have been as good as OU or UT at their best....
