Nobody cares about the bullshite logic. Texas and OU belong in the MAC, not the SEC.

Blew up the deal for Texas, Tech, OSU, OU to go to the pac 12 since you did not want to share tv revenue.
Leaving big 12 now for money.

I suspect you’re a Tech or Baylor fan so I’ll dumb this down for you. How was Texas so greedy that Nebraska left the Big 12?
Because they were the first domino that fell, resulting in the schools that had eyes for other conferences actually acting on those desires. CU always viewed themselves as a west coast institution. A&M wanted the SEC when the SWC broke up.
In fact, if it weren’t for YOUR politicians (Bob Bullock and Ann Richards) meddling when the SWC died, resulting in the formation of the Big 12, you would’ve been in the Mountain West where you belong.

You mean took an offer from ESPN that literally no other school would reject? Sure, if that’s greedy, I guess we’re greedy!
And you don’t think A&M rejecting that deal from the start had anything to do with Texas pulling out? A&M in the SEC while Texas is playing Pac10 after dark games would’ve been a nightmare scenario for Texas.
It’s not the responsibility of Texas to get anyone else into a new conference.
