Which of these two teams has the greatest dropoff?
They kind of mirror each other. Both offenses appear poised to step back (how much is yet to be determined), and both defenses appear poised to improve (again, how much is yet to be determined).

I’m sure if it said LSU was bringing back a ton of production you’d be posting it trash talking other fans. But it’s a useless stat cause it doesn’t show your team in a bright light
I understand you're a stupid aggie and all, but certainly you can see that LSU has had 3 different 1,000 yard rushers each of the past three years. Why would 2020 be any different? Apparently LSU's running game doesn't need any bright lights shown on it, they just keep cranking out 1,000 yard rushers.
Can you explain to me how the returning production analysis predicts LSU will not have a 1,000 yard rusher in 2020?

LSU just won a National Championship, something so unreachable for A&M Football. Why would LSU need to spin some obscure stats?

That's one of the most useless (least useful?) stats around.[/quote]
Actually it's a sliding scale based on what that ratio represents. 85% of exactly what do you have returning?
I'm sure GA Tech would like to be returning 70% of a payoff team, but they're looking at 90% of a trash can.
The methodology fits well to reflect weight given to units for which player turnover most impacts production for the following season.
What he doesn't seem to factor is how player turnover affects lower producing teams vs higher producing teams.

I don’t care what LSU’s bringing back if one of their name’s not Joe Burrow
Myles Brennan is going to make a few people eat words like this. He is gonna be a stud! Watch and see

I mean I’m sure I could Help explain why it said that but you’d completely disagree and I think it’ll save us both time if I just say ‘ok’

In 2019 this predicted nothing!
I think it was pretty good for LSU.
Also this can't predict injuries, so that has to be taken into account.

He seems to always have something negative to say on here.
Congrats on the attempted 4th grade joke

I didn’t say anything negative. I said something factual.
LSU fished #3 in the final AP poll in 06. Lost a ton from a very good team. 4 first rounders including a QB, top 2 WRs and some defensive studs.... won it all in 07.
Tennessee won it all the year after their GOAT QB went to the NFL.
I’m sure there are many other examples.... just like on the opposite side... LSU ‘98, Bama ‘00, AU ‘03... all teams coming from a solid season with lots of veterans back... all fell flat on their face.
