Fair enough. I guess I really only care about my team and the conference my team is in. The other games are good for background noise if nothing else is on tv.

See I can enjoy sitting on my porch with friends sipping a bourbon with a fire going watching Iowa play Florida State.

Adds to the season even if to your point you aren’t building your schedule around those matchups.

I hope not. The loud mouths here can talk about how meaningless they are and are irrelevant.

I'm quite certain there are players out there who give a lot of time and effort for this sport and will never play again after their last season. I'm fine having bowl games at least for that reason- for the players who want to play them.

So much of the fun of college football is being ruined in pursuit of the NFL model.

Move bowls to Labor Day weekend of the following year.

It would celebrate the start of the season and provide some decent intersectional games.

Makes sense. In years past, I had a bit more time to do that and enjoyed the bowl season. This year has been taxing and I haven’t had much time to just enjoy and watch many games outside of my team. Enjoy!

I've always wanted 6. ID the best 6 conferences and each of the champs gets in.

Now reg season and conference champs matter

Yeah, and for the SEC we split the pot, so even a team that barely has a bowl record deciding to opt out hurts all of us financially. Glad to see the Big 12 is fining these teams. SEC should do the same.

Agree
Thanks

Why did your current coach quit? Not like he got hired away, so why can't he finish the season before retiring? I know he is very highly regarded by KSU, but sounds like he is a quitter.

Make the opt out a 2 year commitment. Opt out this year? Ineligible next year.

It makes sense. Players make the same amount regardless so why play more. Most people wouldn’t work an extra week for free.

Klein did quit. He was interviewing all week of the Texas game. Should just be let go for being unfocused

I was actually talking about Klieman retiring from KSU before the bowl game, I dont understand that. He's not going anywhere, so he is quitting before the end. Is Klein leaving aTm or will he stay through playoffs? Klein is a good hire for KSU.
