TCU, AP number 2 team in the country.

I get it that the loser of the CFP championship game is traditionally ranked number 2 but this team lost their weak conference championship game to Kansas State and got obliterated last night by Georgia. Second best team in the country? Come on man!

It's just really hard to come up with a solid #2 team. Michigan just lost to this TCU squad that got absolutely obliterated, and Ohio State looks the part of #2 but it's hard to move a team on a two-game skid up in the rankings.

Its funny, because bama fans are saying that since TCU lost their conference championship game and shouldnt have been in the playoff and instead bama (without even going to the sec championship) should have been in the cfp.

The playoff and rankings reflect the most deserving teams, not the best teams. It’s been like that for a long time.
If you want a good ranking or a spot in the playoff, then win your games.

I always heard they want the best teams not the most deserving. Most deserving based on what. That is way to subjective, but I get it.
