quote:early but yeah, he looks amazing.
This kid Bryce Young you have coming next year looks like a young Lamar Jackson.

figured as much. Was just wondering if he was having some Tua-like freshman performances in practice
Damn sure looked like Tua in the spring game.on several plays.

If he doesn't work out at QB, Saban will find a way to get him involved. He is incredibly fast and shifty. That is unless he transfers after a year like they do these days.

Young is gonna be a stud. Part of why I was asking about Tag Jr

We've been really lucky at the QB position on several fronts......
-Blake Sims worked out OK
- Coker transferred in
- Lost Fromm, but picked up Tua
- Mac Jones will be the first backup QB to make a start at Bama during Saban's tenure.
We've also had a ton of misses and transfers at tbe position even before the Transfer Portal existed.

I was worried about Blake Barnett
Impressive streak of WBs for y’all though. Runs the gamut from true game managers to elite draft prospects

So was I until we put Jalen against USC.
ETA: We've been fortunate that the coachable guys were the ones who stuck around, regardless of their talent level. And despite the turnover, they've had good coaching.

Depends on how bad Tua is. If Tua isn't coming back for awhile then Mac will need all the practice and confidence he can get and against Arkansas is the best time to get it. He will be in until they are up by 30 or 40.
If Tua will be back soon then Mac will be out after just a few screw ups to see if Taulia can keep them afloat til then.

What the hell are you talking about? His name is Tagovailoa. It's not his fault you can't pronounce his name.

Mac can fling it! Everyone just needs to give him the chance to prove it. Go back and watch his A-Day performance or check out his high school senior yr statistics.

Won’t happen. Bama will take the L and hope that one of the other top 3-5 takes an extra L and we sneak in.

I don't think he is good enough to play.

Gah lee I cant believe we’re gonna have to listen to people say “tongavaloa” in some silly imitation of their accent for another 3 years or so.
I don't think you will. Bryce Young will most likely be the name for the next 3 years or so.

Taulia doesn’t want to risk getting his arse beat after the game.

If I don't perform well or I don't perform the way I'm supposed to, I'm gonna get it after," Tua said. Rinaldi - who simply described Galu as a "demanding audience" during the feature - asked Tua for clarification. "Just know that the belt was involved and other things were involved as well," Tua said. "And it's almost the same with school. If I don't get this grade... I'm gonna have to suffer the consequences." Galu described running a no-nonsense household, which includes him, his wife, Diane, and their five children. He said the two most important things to the family are faith and discipline. "He means the bible and the belt," Diane clarified.
