No explanation for it other than the officials placing their hand on the scale to decide the outcome.
Sometimes I believe they are encouraged to do this to increase interest. Dip in the ratings? Nothing helps that like controversy. That's why nothing happens to them. Ever. They're told to do it.

Never assign to conspiracy what can be explained with incompetence. CFB uses part time officials and they are a good ole boy club. A multi billion dollar industry deserves well paid, highly trained and graded, full time employees.

I can’t believe they didn’t throw a flag on that hit. Even if they reviewed it and changed the call. The fact that they didn’t throw a flag was crazy.
This play, the face mask and the PI all went against us. All would have been huge plays and possibly pushed us over the hump.

We still had opportunities to win the game and did not execute when we should of.

the targeting play needs to be submitted to the league for review so that player gets his suspension, even though it was not called in the game. thats the normal procedure
