Those meaningless streaks sound pretty cool until they are broken.
Well I don't think it's necessarily meaningless.
I just think we have a good chance since it's at home.
In the last 30 games played at home, we've only lost twice. Both to #1 teams.

They're both gimmicks.
Is it a gimmick if even the best defenses can't stop it?
If so, I'm good with running a gimmick.

So they are a poor man version of a team that beat us by 7 points and we have no prayer?

It is a gimmick when you can put up 600 yards a game and still lose 2-3 times a year with a Heisman trophy winner

Since 2008, LSU is 5-5 against ranked teams at home.
Meh.

We just had a week where we had 14 stars commit on the d line across 2 classes. Well see how gimmicky it is when we have a top. 50 defense

Still fine with it. If we had a top 80 defense we'd be undefeated.
We'll get there.

There is nothing gimmicky about our defense, it's just plain bad
Also I don't remember Auburn losing 2-3 games in 2010.

Will they stay committed when your head coach is the big man at a PAC 12 school?

Bo Wallace played out of his mind against LSU. Manziel's better, of course, but that doesn't mean he'll have a better game than Bo did.
The real difference was defensive, though. OM beat LSU in the secondary and, of course, intercepting Mett three times. If TAMU is to beat LSU, they're going to have to get some significant stops, which isn't going to be easy. Mett has a good arm, the LSU WR's are among the best in the conference, and, of course, Hill is going to be a threat.
(One other aspect that bears discussion is how OM's running game opened things up for the passing game. Can TAMU exploit that as well as OM did?)

Only problem is Johnny Godball will be a starting safety in the NFL by then.

The Alabama game honestly says very very little about how we'll do against Texas A&M. I know that's going to sound very convenient to people reading this, but Alabama beat us by winning both matchups at the line of scrimmage. We weren't able to establish the running game and thus couldn't get any balance whatsoever, which allowed Alabama to play more men in coverage and shut down the passing game late. Alabama was also able to sustain long drives with their power running game and wear down the defense late.
Texas A&M cannot do that, at all. They'll get their scoring in on offense -- I'll say they score 35-38 -- but we're going to do whatever we want on offense. Jeremy Hill had 13 carries for 42 yards against Alabama. He'll probably double the number of carries and add at least a hundred yards to that against A&M. We'll be balanced on offense and, at least for A&M, unstoppable.
LSU 45-38

Wallace was 30/39 for 346 yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs and a fumble with 18 yards rushing.
Given that he played the whole game, those numbers would qualify as Manziel's worst game of the season thus far.

We've got the best high school QB in the country coming in. No worries.
