I will say that Golding is awful. That defense should be much better and some on the back end shouldn't even be on the field.
Offense, Bryce extends plays but check downs challenge him - not coaching. This WR unit is painful to watch.
One staff assessed the play on the field and adjusted, overcame some adversity and dialed up right plays more consistently - that team won, won big. We will keep Saban, thanks.

This is coaching.
Heupal will be quickly figured out, much like Malzahn, much like Leach.
His type of game works in the AAC, not the SEC.
Tennessee fans will grow tired of their defense getting gashed at the end of games and having to play 95 snaps.
Tennessee basically hit a couple of times on busted coverage...that was their entire game against Alabama.
They didn't have drives and were shut down after the 1st Q.

Oh, I see... and how did you shoot yourselves in the foot against a team with literally zero players that would start for you?
Was it:
A: A blocked punt
B: Lost a fumble
C. DB staring at the sideline when the ball was snapped
Got anymore brainbusters ?

Who do you feel has said, as a Vols fan they are back? The answer is nobody. Are they a better coached team this year than they have been in over decade? Absolutely. That’s not back. That’s a really low bar as the coaching has been shat for a decade.

Because he did. Vols have the better staff, Bama has the better players. Bama has 60 guys they can play the Vols have around 30 healthy capable guys they are playing.
You are full of it. The viles laid all their cards on the table with a soft zone defense. Keep everything in front of you and tackle. 52 points later I doubt the DC and staff are patting themselves on the back. But in this day of moral victories and spin control maybe they are.
Your OC couldn't sustain drives. 3rd down conversions were horrible all night. You came into the game with one of the best rushing stats in the country, BAMA completely cut your water off on the ground for 4 quarters. If BAMA simply plays 2 high safeties you don't get what you got.
It was 52-24 on the scoreboard. The game stats weren't that close.

Think Heupel has done a good job with Tennessee thus far. They were prepared, if outmanned, against Alabama. Alabama again showed vulnerability against an inferior opponent. I don't think this means Heupel "outcoached" Saban, just that Tennessee was well-prepared and Alabama's team is still young and doesn't have the level of consistency we're used to.

10RC tried to make Bryce Young beat them and the kid did just that. 3rd down after 3rd down the QB made plays with his feet and his arm.
Salute to Bryce Young. Bama would be in a world of shite without him this year.
Alabama converted 15 of 20 third downs, four on Young scrambles -- two of which went for touchdowns. His five-yard scoring run that tied the game at 14 was his first collegiate rushing touchdown after two consecutive handoffs to Brian Robinson netted five yards.

I had a TN fan tell me the scheme was there for them to win. I just laughed. When your scheme is predicated on trying to snap the ball when the defense isn't ready, then you don't really have a scheme.

The vile defense was left on the field for dead for the 2nd straight week with their hyper-speed spread. By the start of the 4th quarter, Young had thoroughly exposed them and they were gassed.
Tenn thinks recruiting will solve the problem. Nothing is going to cure a defense left on the field for 100 plays. Nothing. They can ask Ole Miss, hell ask BAMA?
