Okay man, if you want to say "Having that many 5 stars is utterly stupid, foolish" be my guest. Its not the correct usage.
"utterly foolish, or silly."

Now say, "having that many 5-stars is just silly". Works fine? So does the word asinine.
I'm done schooling you on the English language for the day. Move along.

I don't think anyone would use that in a job interview.

This will be Mizzou's biggest long-term issue in SEC football. Just not enough in-state talent and too difficult to pull top notch talent away from the recruiting hotbeds in the southeast. Pinkel and his staff helped us hide this deficiency for years with his ability to find undervalued guys and develop them. We had a nice little recruiting pipeline going in Texas, but I fear with the SEC move and coaching change that is slowly drying up.
For these reasons, I hope we are spending some SEC money on our basketball program, which is not so reliant on regional talent. I believe our basketball program could truly excel in the SEC, but our football program is going to be a 6-8 win team most years due to a talent ceiling.

Do you ever get tired of getting taken to the woodshed and having to resort to responses like this? It seems to happen every time you try and contradict someone.

RB10 that's an asinine statement

UGA's problem has been systemic. Automatic suspensions over trivial shitte, drug tests after spring break, the handling of Todd Gurley versus how Manzels issue was handled.
Seeing alot of those issue quietly go away under Kirby.
Lardarse may be alright in year two as OC, but heck, Spurrier would be an awesome piece to the puzzle if Chaney does not work out.

Sure it is. Just like you claiming the word asinine doesn't work when the fan of an opposing team is using it to describe the 18 5-stars on Alabama's roster.
That's a terribly uninformed opinion, and you got slapped down for trying to push it. Move along.

UGA's numbers weren't so impressive the last couple years. Kirby has flipped the worst part of the roster (2013 class) for the most talented (2017). We'll see how it works out.

Lots missing to be able to translate this onto the field. I did similar and found that results correlation to higher recruit ranking was not very accurate. This is why Navy beats Notre Dame, etc. Why?
(1) Ranking by recruit does not indicate a complete team... i.e. no serviceable QB negates a bunch of 5-stars.
(2) Stars are given for the ability of a player to help the team when he comes out of HS. It says nothing about development, age, etc. Many highly ranked HS players have already peaked and have little upside due to advanced maturity.
(3) Coaching...
(4) Scheme
(5) The extraordinary athlete equation
But this is some interesting work. Thanks

Its funny you think youre right. No one would say "having that many 5 stars is asinine." Youre butchering it. Daniel Webster is turning in his grave. I am done.
