If you wear your USCe gear, just talk to people, most will probably invite you to sit and eat at their tailgate. Tailgates are pretty spread out, but you'd be better off finding one with a big pot and a lot of food.
Chimes is a good choice, in part by its convienant location, as others have recommended. There are some Cajun dishes, but theres a wide variety of stuff.
You can walk around with your liquor and beer on the streets/campus, but just don't do anything too stupid, relax and laugh off the tigerbaits.

Pretty sure he was referencing the tea bagging incident in January.

Chimes is good, but it will be packed due to its location. You'll get just as good or better, especially from a variety standpoint, by just wearing your cocks jersey & walking round campus. The menus as listed by the bama fan is par for the course & variations of it exists all over campus. Booze as well, just keep it out of glass containers & you'll have all you want. If you make Bourbon St. just be prepared for a massive hangover on Sat & with the temps in the high 80's you mite struggle a bit. But try & get here early. On the other hand, if you want to wear a tie, a pressed shirt, a nice pair of pants & walk around looking like a rich snob, do drop by the Grove in Oxford, as it is the nicest cocktail party in the conference.

Don't waste your time. Stay in NOLA, drive into BR for the game, watch out for falling glass and bullets, then GTFO with your win and enjoy Bourbon ST,

That would only be a suggestion if went straight to a central city crack house to do drug deal.
If he visits Uptown, downtown, the French Quarter, Garden District, Lakeview, Lakeshore, Fauborg Marigny, Audubon Park, etc, he won't have a problem at all.
Baton Rouge has night life too - excellent restarants, several luxurious casinos and hotels, and very good nightclubs and bars.
He also won't have a problem in BR in South Baton Rouge, University area, Riverfront, Garden District, parks and golf courses, and east Baton Rouge.
If you didn't follow this advice and had to make a drug score, that's on you......

Overrated.

I mean....if you want to see "Last Call" level females puking and guys pole-dancing on street signs, then by all means.

But I'm sure you could be able to find a nice group of LSU tailgaters to offer you a Colt 45 and fried Nutria on a stick.

Otherwise, I'm sure they have a subway or something nearby.

I guess it's all in what you're used to. Maybe in Oxford they do indeed serve reptiles on a stick in the Grove on your Chinet plates with your Party City candles and Dollar General plastic wino glasses.
Too bad you rednecks are deprived up in nawhin' Miss'ipp of what we enjoy in Baton Rouge - REAL beautiful ladies like the Golden Girls and coeds of Louisiana State, along with REAL and tantalizingly delicious tailgating cuisine such as Crabmeat au Gratin, Shrimp Creole, Cochon de Lait, Grilled Redfish topped with lump crabmeat, Shrimp Remoulade, Blackened Catfish, Trout Amandine, Chicken and Andouille Gumbo, BBQ Brisket, Shrimp and Eggplant Beignets, Trout Meuniere, Etouffe', etc.

Too bad you hit your desired strip club dives in the Big Easy because you were down to your last Confederate dollar; but you missed Jackson Square, the Riverwalk, Harrah's, Aquarium of the Americas, the Cabildo and St. Louis Cathedral, IMAX Theatre, Brennan's, Storyville, City Park and golf courses, Magazine Street art galleries, antique shops, and restaurants, Royal Street shops, Audubon Park, St. Charles Avenue streetcars, Commander's Palace, Court of Two Sisters, Tujague's, Deanie's, Galatoire's, Woldenburg Park, Wax Museum, Haunted House Tours,
Steamboat cruises, etc.
Maybe you change your colors from Blue and Red and Gray to GREEN.

PankREb and Piggy Prime are just mad. Someone fricked their girlfriends while they were in town. pay no attention to them.

If you're friendly about representing your school, most LSU tailgates will be more than willing to offer you beer, water, and whatever has been cooked.

You'll have a great time.

Tigerbaiting is gay, just ignore it. If you walk around you'll be offered plenty of food and beer.

Oh. Is THAT all. I thought it was because he felt slighted because Miles took a knee in Oxford last year with 5 minutes left in the game on the Ole Miss 1 centimeter line.

No. BR is a lot of fun the night before/day of a game.

I'd try the perkins overpass area
