You’re right...Clemsons CFP dynasty is five years...and since the CFP has only been around six years ...and this is Clemsons fourthNC game in five years...that’s enough tenure.

Kiper said the same thing on Sportscenter last night. He said if Lawrence was eligible this year, he'd have Lawrence rated higher.

He also said Lawrence is the "guaranteed" #1 pick next year

Clemson has beaten all three (Bama and tOSU twice) since the CFP kicked off...so from a CFP perspective, Clemson is a dynasty.

2 national titles in 4 years doesn't qualify as a dynasty. If it did then a good lot of teams have had dynasties.

If, though, Clemson beats LSU, I think they are the new best team in the nation, surpassing Alabama, at least till Alabama can prove otherwise.

Yeah, Haskins was a real chump.

Let’s also remember that Lawrence started his career behind fricking Bryant, who sucked arse against any team with a pulse and continued to suck arse this year at Mizzou.

You really are this fricking stupid.

Just 0 history before them other than a brief blip in the 80s. Let us know when you guys can sustain winning for 20 years in a real conference.

Don’t disagree - don’t think Clemson is close to a dynasty overall - but certainly arguable in the CFP era. If Clemson beats LSU in Monday they will certainly be a dynasty in the CFP era not only for winning three of four NC but also beating the best (Bama and LSU) to earn the titles.

you sound mad.

Trevor Lawrence surpassed Bryant and he won a national title his freshman year. Burrow couldn't crack the starting lineup at Ohio State (Haskins did not win a national title or even get Ohio State there), and was a journeyman qb till his redshirt senior year.

It's a real good bet that Lawrence will be a better NFL qb. Actually I think it's a pretty good bet he'll be better than Tua, even if Tua is injury free in the NFL. Lawrence is just the prototypical NFL qb type, and I think he has the intangibles to have a long career.

Micro-Dynasty. Y'all are as much a dynasty as Minnesota was in the 30's and 40's but they still won more Natties.

I live in this century friend... not the last... but since you mentioned Minnesota... didn’t they just boat race a team LSU claims as one of its best wins??

He should have. Bryant was a mediocre QB and he was never going to win a title as their starter. Dwayne Haskins was most definitely not mediocre in his season starting at OSU. This isn’t even remotely apples to apples, as much as you want it to be.

As for Burrow, it’s well documented why he struggled last year. We ran a disjointed offense and Ensminger had him playing under center for the first time in his career. But you know all that.

Your earlier arguments about him learning systems? He’s learned at least three in his college career. He certainly mastered this one very quickly. Now that he’s running something modern that’s geared to his skills, well, you saw what he did to your team and the rest of the conference. Please feel free to try and refute any of this. I look forward to seeing any stats you can come up with to support what you’re saying.

If anyone’s mad, it seems to be you with the completely nonsensical arguments trying to throw shade at a QB who completely eclipsed what Tua accomplished statistically at Bama. Burrow will have the trophy case win as well in a week. And he will be drafted higher. He would be drafted higher even if Tua were healthy after this season. Just be glad that Brady didn’t show up until this season.

Not as bad as LSU boatraced TAMU which is your best Reg season win.

If TLaw is so good, how did you only manage 24 points on that trash defense that lsu put 50 on?

You do understand that LSU has as many titles in this century as you do, right? It will be more as of Monday night.

Hasn’t played a real defense....blah blah blah .....hasn’t played OUR defense .....blah blah blah ......system QB ......blah blah blah.......doesn’t perform well under pressure ......blah blah blah.......no running game ....blah blah blah.

Your turn is Monday. I think the consensus of everyone on this board is that Joe B and the LSU offense took everyone’s best shot this year and no one stopped him. LSU played the top two teams in the East plus everyone in the West. Auburn came the closest, but I don’t see a Brown and Big Cat within your front 4. Also, Auburn had a better athlete guarding our slot receiver. Muse is tough and good at what he does, but he can’t guard Jefferson. The deciding factor in this game will be whether LSU’s defense can get one more “stop” than Clemson. If that happens early on, LSU will build a two score lead and the game will be over. Could end 49-35 or 63-49, but no team has had the ball in the 4th with a chance to take the lead.

If what you say is true, you wouldn't express it like this. Unless you're drunk, which is unlikely for a 15 y/o.

If what you say is true (which it isn't), have fun with a declining standard of living due to inflation decreasing the spending power of your principal.
