Supposedly we aren’t allowed to extend to Monday, 11:59 pm tonight is the cutoff

With all series starting in Thursday this week, there has to be mandatory down time for players before next series

I was kidding because we play Bama next.

9-3 Bama on a 3 run shot after Wes got cute with an intentional walk and a bullpen move to a freshman arm

Inconsequential as this thing was already over but adding some self-deprecation to the sting of losing

I’m under the impression we would still have to go at least 4.5 innings in a 7 inning game for a game to be official. Anyone know if that’s correct?

By the time we start Game 3, almost guaranteed we will experience a long delay at some point so just wondering if this thing even has a chance at being official

Is game 3 going to be 7 innings? Bama’s only hope for a series win is Adams pitching a complete 7 game.

Vandy scored 7 in the 8th and 9th to erase a 5 run deficit last week.

Think it’s 5 regardless (or 4.5 if home team is ahead).

Yeah Game 3 has already been announced as 7 only.

But rain and storms are supposed to start up again around 2 so chances of either starter making it a complete game are pretty slim

Advantage UGA.

If it’s 2 CT, then Adams may be able to get through 5+ innings in 2 hours, or could give up 5 in the first.

As good as Wes is, sometimes coaches just over complicate things.

Lefty starters hve been our Achilles heel this year so this could be anyone’s game depending on how he throws and if he’s able to go for length

He has a tendency to over rely on analytics. Not sure if Farley was an analytics move or a situational test of the freshman in a game we were likely not going to win, but it looks dumb in hindsight

I assume Florida has done enough to make the NCAA tournament.

Are Kentucky and Miss State still alive? Has A&M blown it with the series loss to Mizzou?

Are Florida, Alabama and Oklahoma still in the running for hosting a regional?

State is very much alive

A&M will now need to win their last series in Athens to be in the conversation.

Alabama will need to take 2/3 from Florida to host IMO

Thanks.

I checked the ESPN app before 12pm EST and it listed 3 games as already completed for today. I figured it was games that started last night and finished after midnight.

Ok yeah, I just looked at their schedule, they finish against Mizzou with a midweek game. Decent shot at 34-20, 15-15 in SEC. That should get them a 2 seed, 3 at worst.

Say Florida beats Texas today; do they host if they beat Bama? Feels like it is shaping up that way, winner of that series gets a regional.

I think so too, but I think a loss to Texas today knocks us out of hosting.

Which was a momentum shift to UGA due to bases loaded with 1 out and back to back SOs. That inning could have been much different…smh
