And of the 5 returners, 3 were transfers last year. Wes strongly believes in using the portal, said that if MLB teams can grab players at the trade deadline and win a World Series 3 months later, it should be easy to bring in guys and win a CWS 8 months later.
He also specifically recruits guys based on who he thinks would benefit from Foley’s dimensions. Big analytics guy.
That’s why the people saying we were gonna fall off without Collins and Condon were just being lazy. That whole team raked, and was as good or better than Tennessee’s offense.
Both teams lost similar production and brought in stacked transfer classes. Yet one was preseason #1 and the other was called “most overrated in the SEC”.

No reason why Texas shouldn’t jump Arkansas. Winning the series against LSU at home is more impressive than sweeping USC.
I’m assuming you just live in a Texas bubble and pay no attention to what other programs are doing.
Arkansas has scored 65 runs in six SEC games. Scored 10+ runs in 5/6 SEC games. Scored 10+ runs in 14/25 games this season.
No, Texas will not jump Arkansas in the polls.

So Tennessee is in your head is what you’re saying

you both definitely mash the ball.. the only question I have for the Dawgs is pitching.. and Tennessee has a decisive advantage their right now.. if y’all figure that out, the Dawgs will have a shot to win it all..

Good series, Horns. Good luck the rest of the way.

I’m just talking about preseason narratives.
Can’t tell you how many people on here said the offense would fall off big time without Condon, ignoring the guys we brought in
I plan on bumping the thread tomorrow when I’m bored at work

I see you're new to college baseball.
Welcome aboard, there's lots to learn.

Are we supposed to know things about Georgia from last year? Or care?

Missouri seems like they are really bad.. first chance to watch them..

I mean, you probably shouldn’t offer your opinion on things you aren’t familiar with, or else you might look like an idiot.

Nope because they’re irrelevant

well it’s hard to truly evaluate transfers, but some coaches are given the benefit of doubt because they have proven that they can identify and develop talent routinely.. I’m guessing Wes Johnson will get that same treatment moving forward..

Um… you’re replying to an Arkansas fan

Yes, and stat wise we are #1 in the SEC in fielding, #2 in the SEC in batting average and #5 in the SEC in ERA.
That will win you some games.
