A&M being unable to score runs with that lineup is crazy

Mississippi State is in big trouble. Gotta go on the road to Oklahoma and LSU the next 2 weekends. They could easily end up 1-8 or 0-9.

0 runs against Bama’s Sunday pitching is…well, pathetic. A&M is in the toilet

Presbyterian went off for 11 runs against this squad a week ago.

Yikes, A&M

I’d pretty much written this game off.

We had a brutal schedule to start the year last year and began SEC play 3-12, still got it together and finished 13-17. Started 1-8 in Mainieri's last year, too, and did enough to make the NCAAT down the stretch

It's a long season. I wouldn't say State is in big trouble just yet. Lost 2 close games this weekend to a good team

All 3 games were close... Even the game that just wrapped they had the tying runner at the plate.

From overwhelming preseason title favorite to 10-9 and swept at home in the first conference series. What an unbelievable turn of events.

Maybe I’m stupid but there was zero reason A&M should have been preseason #1 after losing an elite coach

It made sense with their roster. I don’t think anyone could have reasonably expected them to be this bad with the players they have. They were almost a unanimous pick to win the SEC too, so it wasn’t just the writers at D1

It was coaches, too. Like 80% of the coaches polled pick them as the title winner.
