Vandy is at 6-3 now and threatening again.

Neither Ole Miss nor State is having the season they were hoping for, but that place was rocking like it was a Super Regional.

He may come back next week, but in what capacity is anyones guess. Not expecting him to throw 100 pitches and stuff it for 8 innings .

4th place we hold tiebreaker over Alabama assuming they hold on to beat Auburn and we haven’t played Auburn so we would be above them

That was my thought, too. I heard he had a great bullpen, but if he didn't pitch any against State, then he is clearly not at 80-90%. Best case would be five innings and be serviceable? Either way, having your first rehab start of a season against LSU is not ideal.

The back half of their SEC schedule is manageable, but they'll need a lot more than one starter to turn this around. If they (likely) lose 2/3 from LSU, they will have 4 SEC wins through 6 series.

At this point I don't see him coming back. Why risk further injury when our season is over?
