As an Ole Miss fan, you know we need at least 12 runs to have a chance with our pitching.

You can never leave a military academy in the game. They will find a way to claw back into the game if you leave the door open. I'm a fan of Army... but tack on another 10 runs just to be on the safe side.

I was watching the Vandy game with my in-law's, who are State fans, and they were saying how hard it would be for them to overcome the 9-1 deficit. I knew our pitching was shot, though, so I definitely saw that comeback coming.

That is my concern for quite a few SEC teams in the postseason, Arkansas included. If the bats grow cold I'm not sure the pitching is there to drag teams across the finish line.

I will never get over how bullshite it is Vandy has a turf field. Not like there’s a snow issue in Nashville and one football game’s worth television revenue would pay for for maintenance on grass like every other fricking school in the conference

Cal is about to go 0-2. Down 6-3 to Central Connecticut in the bottom of the 8th. One chance left to score 3. Oregon State also lost the first game of their own regional and play Creighton in an elimination game today.
