LSU started the weekend #12 in ELO. Then TexasTiger88 said that LSU should be top 5 and are as good as Ole Miss and Moo State.
Since then, they’ve lost a series to Oral Roberts and dropped to 23 in the ELO rankings.
That’s what we call a major oof.

Also Air Force is basically the same as UCF and Tulane.

I want to believe that this team is good and this weekend was just some growing pains, but who knows.

Tried to tell people that it was too early for all of those rankings and lists for us. We are way too inexperienced to be making decisions about what this team can be so early in the season.

Lol, true that and we are the team to serve them up a no hitter. Btw, for what it’s worth, I knew nothing about them until Friday. They came into the weekend ranked #27 RPI and their ace pitcher our head coach tried to recruit before coming to Miss State. He said post game Friday that he wanted him because he was really good. Also, they have some legit batters. Pretty good team all around. I’ll take the 2 of 3.

Kent was a very good team. Let the weather warm up and our bats will catch up with our arms. Scary shite for the rest of the SEC

I watched the game on Espn app plus listened off and on to radio - Jim Ellis and Ron Polk was a guest all weekend. Polk mentioned that he has been watching (apparently on campus a lot) our guys during practice before the season and said he REALLY liked our bats and pitching depth. He mentioned that our bats will come around because they are so talented etc. This could be special by mid season.

Bats aren’t the problem. Friday and Saturday starting pitching has been bad

Delta, honestly, find another team. You bitch like a girl when small things happen and want to hump ice cream when we win. Either a MSU fan or not. Sick of your BS. This is a damn good team waiting to explode mid season. Heard it here first. Now go adopt a new team.
