I'm not melting, I'm trying to counter the LSU propaganda that purports that yall are in fact, not experiencing a meltdown right now.

Which you are. You've spent so much time on fire you forgot what it feels like to not be on fire.

Do we count Brandon Williams as a 5-star in the secondary?

Let's see, the last time Kevin Steele was a defensive coordinator Clemson was demolished by West Virginia. West Virginia's qb coach at the time was Jake Spavital. Jake Spavital is now the offensive coordinator at A&M. There's no doubt he has better talent, but I can't believe any LSU fan would legitimately think they're in better hands in terms of defensive play calling.

Spav owns Steele. Everyone knows this except swamp kittens.

You're right. You're more in the post-melt anger stage.

Here it is again for those not paying attention.

According to 247sports:

2012
A&M - 16
LSU - 14

2013
A&M - 9
LSU - 6

2014
A&M - 5
LSU - 2

2015
A&M - 11
LSU - 5

Not much difference there.

Roster Breakdown (just defense):

A&M
DT:
***** 1
**** 6
*** 2

DE
***** 1
**** 4
*** 1

LB
*****
**** 1
*** 7

DB
*****
**** 7
*** 6

LSU

DT
*****
**** 5
*** 1

DE
*****
**** 3
*** 4

LB
*****
**** 3
*** 3

DB
***** 2
**** 8
*** 3

Pretty much the same. A&M's d line is better and LSU's secondary is better.

According to real life all your stars are soft as evidenced by their inability to tackle or man up.......while ours consistently rank as "TOUGH"

You have TexAgs trying to actually pump up the 2nd coming of Brian Urlacher because you signed DWAINE THOMAS...............

Well, that WVU offense put up the following stats on LSU's 2011 defense:

28 First Downs
533 yards
463 passing
70 rushing
7.1 yards per pass
21 points

They also had 4 turnovers because of LSU's playmakers. Does A&M have a Tyrann Mathieu or Mo Claiborne on the roster?

No, look at the situation objectively and you will see LSU fans setting themselves up for a HARD HARD fall. Honestly its not fair, I mean just by the odds we HAVE TO win eventually (once in a blue moon even Ole Miss can beat Bama), but if we won any other year in the SEC-especially last year- it would have just been another LSU loss.

But the Chavis situation has FORCED yall to round the wagons, and look forward to beating a team you have owned recently just one more time. In reality yall shouldn't even care about the game win or lose, it should be a boring event given recent history. Yet I have seen almost every major LSU poster gloat on these forums about an eventual LSU victory, because even if you won't admit it there is more riding on the game this year than ever before.

I mean, if A&M wins this year then LSU fans have to accept that maybe LSU DID downgrade in coaching. Maybe A&M DID buy the secret to LSU success because your AD was too cheap to pony up $200k. Maybe Les Miles really IS almost out of rope, which means the golden age for LSU football could be at an end.

I am not saying all that is the reality of the situation, just saying there is a lot of mental baggage tied to LSU fans boasts of premature victory. If I was an Arky fan or something I would love to see the melt the LSU lose would cause. Yall will be shitting on Les, Kevin, Joe AND Tounces. It will be glorious for all to enjoy. In fact sadly us dorky Aggies will try to fan the flames and instead smother a few grease fires.
