Strangest SEC game in 2012 has to be LSU 12-10 over AU

How in the world did LSU only beat AU by 2 points? Doesn't make any sense . IIRC,LSU outgained them. And Auburn is the worst SEC team I've ever seen. All year, not just after they quit after some given game.
Other consideration : USCe's demolition of UGA 35-7.
What say you?

LSU looked to roll at the start, walking to the AU 2, but Mett fumbled. LSU got up 9-0 and had the ball and AU rocked Mett and he fumbled it and they got 7 on it.
LSU got super conservative and Mett couldn't hit any receivers after that. He has not been the same QB at home vs away.

I talked about that in the game thread. I have no idea how that happened. The only argument is that Auburn still thought they had a shot at turning around their season and quit after that.
Even with that said, it's still baffling. Auburn was just so incredibly awful today that I found myself wondering which of our cupcakes was better than them. Without a doubt, Western Kentucky > Auburn.

When did this happen?
How about turnover city in TWLOCP

Auburn still had hope. They also played Clemson into the 4th quarter.

I will submit UGA 29 - UK 24 into consideration as well. Still not clear wtf happened there. Also, TWLOCP with 9 total turnovers
USC put up 35, for whatever that's worth

Not so abysmal against your defense.
Queue the flurry of "21-17" posts to avoid the subject.

turnover hurt LSU but les miles coaching is why it was 12-10. the best part is the rant making excuses like its jordan hare be happy we won

Not strange, we've played everyone close. Towson was close. It's our team this season.

Turnovers and penalties
LSU outgained auburn by more than they did in the 35 pt blowout last year

Well at the time it made sense. No one knew the Barners would be the abortion they've become at that point.
