Where is LSU?

You're annoying when it comes to not citing/linking harder to find stats.

Bama's run game includes Jalen pretty heavily. I see the gap in the pass game as a direct result of his ability to opt out of anything other than an open receiver and run it.
LSUs challenge will be to alleviate blown coverages and force Jalen into running, for limited gains on passing downs.

2017 Clemson loss - 221 Yards rushing
2015 Ole Miss loss - 215 yards rushing
2014 Ole Miss loss - 76 yards rushing
2015 Ohio State loss - 170 yards rushing
2013 Auburn loss - 218 yards rushing
2014 Oklahoma - 129 yards rushing
2012 Texas A&M loss - 122 yards rushing

History tells us something different. Looks like most of Alabama's losses come in spite of their strong running game.

Let me ask you a question, how many times has Bama actually dropped back to pass?

Hurts has 151 attempts. That's 10th in the SEC
Tua has 42 attempts.

Combine those and you get 193 attempts.

That's tied for 4th in the SEC

Hurts has 1223 yds and Tua has 385
Combined for 1608yds or 4th in the SEC.

Agree. The stats show the way to beat us is to convert TDs in the red zone, have a passer who can beat us and cause turnovers/hold us to FG attempts.

Stopping us from running doesn't hurt, obviously.

Your posting here is as bad as it is in the game threads on the Bama board.

We average 24.1 pass attempts per game. That's 112th in the country (out of 130 teams). We are 27th in yards per attempt and 16th in QB Rating.

We rank low in stats that accumulate based on attempts, but we rank above average in efficiency stats.

That's actually where I go to as well. I realized you were going on team rating rather than individual, which is why it was off from what I was seeing. Etling alone is right about identical to the tandom rating for Hurts and Tua. I only mention it because we don't use Brennan like yall use Tua.

Exactly my point. Well, that and the OP is apparently stupid.

Stopping the run is the biggest key to stopping any offense bro.

It's the best site to easily break things down by situations and splits. I really like it.

I continue to maintain that Canada has done a fantastic job this year. Anybody busting his chops needs to re-examine things. Between a limited QB, the offensive line issues, young WRs and banged up RBs he has stitched it all together with tape and chicken wire.

Hell, LSU is #28 nationally in Yards Per Play.

Just watch the second half of the aTm game. You start going for it on 4th down immediately. Get a qb that scramble. Hope hurts misses wide open guys..

This is easier said than done...over the years everybody has tried but only a handful have succeeded. However, this is the formula to beat Bama - this year with Bama's passing attack being ranked 88th in the country - if you stop the run...you may win the game.

We stopped the run last year. The only problem was you still have to account for Hurts as a runner even when he is passing. That and we had no offense again.

If LSU can cut back on the YAM tackles they can certainly win. However, we have 8 games under our belt and it's still same old, same old.
