That's understandable.
Mississippi State fans are such ungrateful grinding bastards. And little known fact, they are also known as Redneck Gay. Gay rednecks you know. You needed to distance yourself from that quite honestly.

In these situations, you just have to live long enough to become an institution. Eventually people just get used to you and stop hating. That's how that trash can became Tennessee's mascot.
