Not wrong about what? I have no idea what makes a 72 year old man act like a child but Spurrier never fails to deliver. Fact: On October 10th, 2015 LSU beat South Carolina team coached by Steve Spurrier. Fact: On October 12th Steve Spurrier resigned. Fact: Les Miles was 4-0 against Spurrier. Fact: LSU's one of the 5-6 best programs of the 21st Century and one of the 10-12 best programs ever. They certainly don't have anything to prove to Steve Spurrier or to you.

It's not a coincidence that Meyer quit the same time that Saban turned Bama around, Spurrier turned SC around and he all of a sudden had to recruit in FL against Jimbo. The final nail in the coffin was that he realized he didn't have Tebow 2.0 on his roster.

If memory serves me correctly:

Didn't Steve Spurrier coach a football game in which his team scored 58 points, and the other team 3 points, which still stands as the worst loss in that schools history?

Nick Saban will coach his football team to beat you.

Steve Spurrier will coach his football team to humiliate you.

What's that got to do with my post about Urban Meyer?

And didn't Steve Suprrier coach a team that endured one of the most humiliating defeats in a national championship game?

He's still butthurt from LSU not hiring him in 87. But then again, so am I. He would have been a great hire.

he won routinely and went to a SEC championship with fricking South Carolina. All in all, that may be better than 1997 in Florida.

1 national championship since 2007 makes you a top 10 program? LOLOLOLOLOLOL

LSU recruits well, but it doesnt show on the field. Yes, you have guys go to the NFL who are great but where were they at LSU in terms of winning games?

CSS could have been coach at LSU had he waited a month or so. LSU came open right after he went to USCe.
CSS at LSU would have been hell on wheels.

There aren't 10 programs that have played for a title since LSU has.

You have Bama, ND, Auburn, FSU, tOSU, Clemson and Oregon?

ND, Aub and Oregon are not better programs than LSU in recent memory.

So where are all these programs that are better than LSU? Winning more titles than LSU?

10 different teams have barely played for a title since 2007

Florida 2008
OU 2008
Bama 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016
Texas 2009
Auburn 2010,2013
Oregon 2010, 2014
LSU 2011
ND 2012
FSU 2013
OSU 2014
Clemson 2015, 2016

That is 11. So from 2008-2016 only 11 different schools have played for the NC.

This gets on my nerves. Les didnt lose to Bama 3-4 times a year. He lost to other teams and was out coached.

Alleva is a horrible AD, but Miles wasn't fired for not beating Saban. Had LSU been like 2011 or even 2012 when you can say he mostly just lost to Sabaan he would still be the coach. Others started beating LSU as well.

How many different programs have won national titles since 2007? I'll give you a hint, it's fewer than 10.
