there's a stetson bennett in every draft. There's literally nothing special about him.
Other than being "tied" as the most successful QB in SEC history, with the caveat of winning as many SEC championships on the field as the other QB and winning what would have been 4 games that would have been national title games in 2011 and 2012 as well as leading his team to an undefeated 15-0 season (the other QB never had an undefeated season) and having an overall better winnning % by 33% than that other QB one could argue that Stetson Bennett is the most succesful QB in SEC history by himself.

Absolutely better in college football than Bryce Young and it ain't close. The fact that Bennett was as successful as he was given how big a joke his starting in the SEC according to most CFB fans, Georgia fans included, based solely on recruiting rankings and a less than stellar 2020 season, where he had as good a winning % as Bryce Young had this year, is where all the hate for Bennett starts. Georgia fans, myself included, are as bad as any other fan base.
I was sitting next to an older gentleman during the 2021 UAB game when Bennett went off on a less than SEC caliber defense and told that man that it was the beginning of the Bennett for Heisman campaign. Everyone within ear shot took up that statement and laughingly repeated it with every completion. No UGA fan who I ever met who was honest thought Bennett would accomplish what he did, there is no reason for a fan of any other team to have thought so, yet here we are. I am done predicting anything of Stetson Bennett....Dude is amongst the most successful, if not the single most successful QB in SEC and CFB history. There have been more gifted ones and many who looked the part far better but the fact that Bennett did what he did while at UGA is without precedence in CFB....and no one saw it coming and most still refuse to admit they were wrong and refuse to acknowledge what they have seen on the field.

Well, this is the dumbest thing i've heard all day, and I have been reading this board. Wow. The rank stupidity and blind loyalty of some fan bases.

Relax...nobody is saying that BY is a bad QB. He's got just as good a arm as SB. Heck, that pick-6 to Kelee Ringo was right on the money. (wink)

Right here is his problem and it's simple physics. He has a shorter lever than everyone else on the list when he throws a ball. He can produce velocity for a few throws, but he will fatigue faster and over time he won't be able to maintain the velocity make the throws. It compounded by him being older than your standard NFL rookie.
This isn't a troll, it's simply a reality of science.

"fatigue faster"? Hmmmm go back and look at his playoff games against Bama and Ohio State. Their secondaries would definitely disagree with you. He got better as the games went on and played his best ball in the 4th quarter.

"fatigue faster"?
I'm talking over the course of a season and career, not the course of a few hours in a single game.
But I wouldn't expect the average UGA fan to know anything about physics or anatomy and physiology...

Baseball says you are FOS.
Arm length is not more important than genetics.

So a MLB pitcher with a short arm will lose velocity over the course his career faster than another with a longer arm?
Never heard this before. Is there some data to back up your theory?
Seems like it would be common knowledge in baseball circles, correct?

Can coaching fix AR? Florida fans were always screaming about Mullen being a QB whisperer. What you are saying contradicts what they are saying.
If he hasn't been "fixed" by now, will it ever happen?

The cumulative workload/effort for the throwing muscles in the arm/body over the course of a career will be greater for someone with a shorter arm. This is because their muscles have to apply greater force/contract more strongly than someone with a longer arm to throw at the same velocity...

Then you made up shite about physics and biology which you know is a load of crap.
And now you want to take the discussion back to football.
I don't blame you. You were obviously in the wrong lane.
