Went to the NFL.

Would have never left LSU for another college.

Not a stepping stone.

But you already knew this.

No reason to melt!!! However, he would not have left Alabama to go back to LSU. so makes you think, that there was at least 1 job he would have left LSU for....

Ok Nostradamus, give me the lottery numbers for this week.

Nutt and his family were being brutally attacked by a fraction of the fanbase, mostly on the internet and a split in the fanbase had occurred that made it impossible for him to stay and have any decent life for himself and his family.

I know you hate Nutt but you’re going overboard with this shite.

Both are in the same hierarchy in the SEC that have won nothing.

Nice troll...
LSU helped Saban just as much as Saban helped LSU.

Then why have you had a coach leave Fayetteville for Oxford and another coach choose Oxford over Fayetteville all within the last 15 years?

Brutally attacked by idiots from the internet? What coach doesn't get attacked by trolls from the internet?

No one forced Nutt from Arkansas and his environment that he had to deal with was no different than any major college football program in the United States. They all do the same BS. He didn't have the tough enough skin to deal with it.

I don't hate people but you defend him like no other in your posts like he is your best friend. In your opinion Nutt a was saint that did no wrong at Arkansas and Ole Miss. It was never his fault but someone else.

Shoot, wait until Lane goes to Florida and takes all the decent players on your roster with him.

Why not LSU?

Because Ole Miss was dumb enough to hire him after being told repeatedly how it was going end for them. Ole Miss ignored it and laughed how Ole Miss stole him away. I say thanks for doing that or Petrino would have never been here.

Kiffin? Besides internet messages board talk and rumors, I haven't heard of him considering or being considered for the job from outside that arena. It seems to me just talk that people on different sides that want it to be true but nothing came out of it.

That’s a student newspaper with an article written by someone that was between 1 and 3 years old when Saban was last at LSU.

It also says nothing about it being a stepping stone to Alabama like the OP inferred.

I don't recall Terry Bowden getting a head coaching job again for another 20 years.

This doesn't make any sense. He left Auburn in 1997 and was hired at North Alabama in 2009.

He didn't infer anything other than Nick used LSU as a stepping stone.
