That walk on for Bama played out of his mind.

I think point is, Bama was going to lose eventually if not that game. Too much to overcome that year.

Come to think of it, I only went to two college football games that year. Both were Alabama games.
South Carolina-Alabama
LSU-Alabama
Alabama went 0-2.
Come to think of it, I've been to a few more Alabama games and they lost all of them.
LSU-Alabama (2001, 2004, 2006, and 2007).
Any SEC fans want to hook me up with tickets and take care of my travel accommodations when their school plays Alabama?

Wasn't Arkansas the first game off the bye that year?

Who cares? I heard Garcia hooked up with Ryan Leaf in a business venture.

Who did Alabama have after their bye week that year?

I think LSU, has been that way the last few. Changes this year.

My South Carolina friends aren't afraid to admit that was the highlight of their Carolina fan-hood.
One* of their highlights. Since that time SC won its 2nd national baseball title, won the East division that year and 1st 11 win season. Hell we've had some clunkers over the last 2 years no doubt but we're 10-0 vs UF, UGA, UT, Clempson, Bama, and Nebraska over the last 2 years.

I'd like to take this time to thank Stephen Garcia for being Auburn's best quarterback in 2011.

Bama has put their bye between UT and LSU for a bit. It used to be two big games.
Just like Auburn would schedule it's bye between UGA and Bama

Garcia was out of his mind. I kept waiting for the crash, but it never happened.
