I've seen mild temper tantrums by coaches affect the game outcome with a personal foul unsportsmanlike conduct.

The refs chose not to throw a flag on the fans so at the end of the day created a bad precedent going forward.

I would say I'm concerned about the conduct of lesser fanbases in future games but I'm pretty sure that Texas set the bar pretty low. I can't think of any proper SEC team who would act like that .

Such a mess. Incorrect call to begin with. But in the end they got it right. Unfortunately, it looked horrible.
I do applaud them for having the nuts to make it right, but how about let’s do a BETTER job in discussing BEFORE announcing the call, setting up for the next play, and utilizing chaos and bedlam to discuss? If it had been done correctly, there would have been no bottles on the field.
But again, I love that they got it right in the end.

SEC puts out a statement that makes the situation look even worse.

Good job, Sankey

Certainly more than they did last week after Smart pushed Van Buren out of the way with no consequence. And if any other coach touches another team’s player going forward there should be NO penalty, fine or suspension. They have set a precedent for that.

Head ref Matt Loeffler is a Dallas, Texas native.

TCU grad who had to move to reffing the SEC when TCU joined the Big 12.

His son went to UTa.

SEC needs to drop the hammer to deter other fanbases from doing the same. Too dangerous.

What is it with UTs and throwing stuff on the field?

SEC refs were intimidated by the Texas fans for making a bad call, so after being threatened by the Texas fans the refs reversed the call.

SEC home teams going forward can now resort to violence and get the call reversed if they disagree with the call, right?

Yep

Pass interference cannot be reviewed.

The refs were doing all they could to keep Texas in the game.

Any SEC fanbase would react that way over a terrible call on a night game. One bottle landed somewhere around the south 35 yardline and Kirby ran out on the field pointing at it like a little bitch. Mob mentality took over with that reaction and the northeast corner of the stadium decided to join in.

There was no Defense PI; UGA's receiver wasn't turned to the ball and never attempted to make a play on the ball. Texas fans are used to getting bent by poor conference officiating and I'm glad it took something like this to get it right.

Dude.

Every. Single. Call. Went. Your. Way.

And you still lost by 2 scores. If Beck weren't a borderline waterhead baby under pressure you're lucky the Dawgs didn't score 50.
