Sorry bama, but your garbage sauce has no place here.

Everybody, especially LSU fans, knows how much the Aggies love the Alabama white sauce. It'll be running down your chin by Saturday night.

If BBQ decides there ain’t a school in Texas that would ever win a game. Texans know nothing at all about BBQ. Texas BBQ is roast beef covered in ketchup......NASTY....BBQ starts with swine.....not a cow.

Mutton makes the best BBQ

English got it all started when they brought sheep and cooked them the way the native islanders did their fish and smaller game.

After some traveling, give me pulled pork with the Carolina mustardy sauce over bad brisket every time. If someone does a brisket right, give me Texas in a landslide.

Highest ceiling: Texas
Highest floor: Carolina

As for the game, ags have a shot in the 4th quarter. Whether they take that shot or not, I have no idea

Lamb is my favorite meat.
Never had mutton BBQ.
I’ll keep an eye open for it.

Just read this after seeing your post, and now I’m drooling.

The best BBQ in Texas is in Austin; not Collie Station.

And the best BBQ in Austin couldn’t keep a pit in business east of Houston and south of Lexington. Franklins, considered by some as the best, and Friedman’s, is about as edible as that shite they sale in the freezer section of a grocery store......Texans can’t cook BBQ, steak or Mexican food. They can make some good beer and ice cream though.....

Lol people who think Franklin's is the best in Austin haven't had La Barbecue

eta - as far bbq tacos, don't even get me started on Valentina's smoked carnitas tacos...

Pork is trash compared to beef. I mean seriously, there's nothing wrong with it, but there's nothing right with it either.

This is why ALL Texas BBQ joints sell pulled pork but no legitimate BBQ joint in the south (Texas is the Midwest, not the south) sells Brisket. No one really likes burnt roast beef slathered in ketchup....they just don’t know any better.....

I know I am old, but there was an age when beef was just too damn big. I read the article and wish more Texans would - especially as many are descendants of Kentuckians - to understand the roots of good BBQ.

I'd put my brisket up against any of you Texas baws.

And I'll take you Mizzou bitches on with my burnt ends as well.

Competition bbq is overseasoned sugary crap from my experience. I’ll stick to peppery for beef then some sweet heat for my pork.
