Dude, frick Auburn but State shouldn't have even been in a bowl game. Sure as frick didn't deserve it with five wins.

Auburn is .631 all-time. If we have a losing year it actually is a rebuilding year. That's why we play for championships inbetween bad years and State, well... State will always have that 1941 SEC co-championship

I don't see anyone here claiming that last year was a good year. I think we all agree it was bad. But Aubrun was 6-6 going into a bowl game against the 5th place team in the American conference just last year. We don't have a great history but that's what it is, history. Congrats on being good in the 60s when most of us weren't even alive. Mullen has had 2 bad years in 8 years here and they were rebuilding years. He's finished ahead of auburn 3/8 years.

Actually, on the field we have a .508 winning %. We were 6-4-1 in 1975, 9-2 in 1976, and 5-6 in 1978. Because some 3rd string WR was ruled ineligible the NCAA made us forfeit some games and it changed those records to 2-9, 0-11, and 0-11. You can go to jhowell.net to see actual on field winning percentages. So, it ain't great, but we actually have an all time winning record.
