Ole Miss really took this thread personally. Everyone in the league clearly thinks MSU is way past Ole Miss at this point. Just own it and try to get better.

...and it is not even close. The longer The Bears hold on to Nutt the further they will fall down the list of relevance in the state of Mississippi. Their only hope at this point is that someone else hires Mullen.

When one team in a state with two D-1 programs that are competative starts to fall way behind the other team they must fire the coach and hire a no name loser that will do what the rich Alum tell him to do and then they must start paying players. Who knows, it may work, I almost feel like I have seen it happen before.

The fact of the matter is we lost a lot and we had a rebuilding year while the rest of the West was having good years. We were terrible the first 4 games (Jax st. and Vandy) but improved but ran into the buzz saw that was the sec west at the end of the year. You can keep saying that is not the case, but we will see who is laughing this time next year.

They're doing well, but I'm sure the talk was reversed just two years ago.

Miss.St will come into next season with serious thoughts about Atlanta. As a Bully alum, I'm going to get tickets to that LSU game in September. Should be exciting.

Actually the talk wasnt reversed. The talk two years ago was that Ole Miss was winning with Coach O's kids and in a couple of years they would suck a fatty.

Well, it has been a couple of years and Ole Miss sucks a fatty.

Don't waste your time trying to talk football with these Ole Miss poster's.Hell they thought they were going 9-3 or 7-5 at worst b/c their schedule was so favorable this yr.They really don't understand the game that well. Now if you need to know the best place to buy a Northface jacket, that they know about.

as long as the west stays in the current shape its in ole miss is way behind.....they have the only coach who hasn't coached in atleast a bcs bowl...hell arkansas and ole miss have the only coaches not involved with a nc after this season......the coaching and recruiting in the west is way out of control....its basically a tryout for the nfl.

People don't understand the fact we lost a lot of talent coming into this season. We are not good enough to reload. We had to rebuild like 90% of teams in college football. We were terrible the first 3rd of the season (Jax st. and Vandy) then we played better we just ran into the buzz saw of what was the SECw and honestly never had a chance. We will be much improved next year.

no its the fact that all of Coach O's Recruits are gone and the real Coach Nutt is being exposed. Ever wonder why arky had so many down years?????? keep telling yourself these things my friend

And yet you're still going to be picked to finish last in the West next year too.

They are right now, and it's not debatable. Mullen is doing a lot with nothing; I'm sure Mullen will recruit very well becuase of wins like today.

If I was a State fan I'd be very excited.
