I had a bunch of State friends buy tickets for the 2017 game in Athens, they like some of you were convinced they would beat GA. After dropping a grand on tickets the game kicked off, Fromm thru a TD off a flea flicker on the first play and UGA never looked back..... I just laughed at all the money they spent to get dismantled.....

We’ll lose on the last play of the game, just like 3 of our 4 losses have gone and I’ll crawl into a bottle of bourbon. Rinse repeat.

I was at that game and spent no where near a grand for tickets
It was my first game in Athens and outside of how shitty we played it was a lot of fun. In stadium environment was great. I was expecting an environment like you see at Alabama but it was much louder.
ETA: a kind UGA student offered me a Xanax in the bathroom at halftime

Iirc it was half a stick (ladder) but I declined. I never liked Xanax and I saw some lives ruined with that stuff.

Have you watch Georgia play all year? You just described what happens to them almost every game.. They come out flat and at the half they are either losing or in a very close game.. There isn't a coach in the country that is better than Kirby at making halftime adjustments.. Georgia has been in many close games all year and closed out everyone except Bama.. State has also been in a lot of close games, but its hard to play football with your hands around your neck and they have blown it.
