The thread was on the front page again the other day, but by all means; close your eyes, place your fingers in your ear, and chant "la,la,la didn't happen, la,la,la".

well pull it up then. I keep seeing people say that most state fans were predicting 10 wins. I'd love to see that, but it just didn't happen.

we could have definitely spread out those non conference games.

It's pick your poison because we have been starting off the season playing Auburn, LSU, and Georgia all in September and complained about it.

I love our new schedule and can't wait to go to a night game at tiger stadium in November.

K, when Texas arse rapes you this year. Come back and let us know what a bad arse you are for scheduling tough.

Just like state fans bragging about the hardest schedule in the nation in Mullen's first year? You're one obsessed hypocrite

I can't believe that MissSU, a member of the greatest football conference in the world, would agree to schedule a game @ TROY. especially after paying @ UAB in 2011. if you're going to play those teams on the road, you should at least play Delta State in Cleveland to keep the money in state.

It's called a 2 for 1 everybody outside of the SEC does it.

I'll give y'all 6-1 (a loss to either Auburn or Tenn)

4-game losing streak.

Then a tossup against Ole Miss - in Oxford, new coach, no clue what to expect....could be a good game. 7-5 good season. 8-4 best case scenario.

I'm pretty sure that 12-0 is the best case scenario.

You are smarter than Scott Stricklin, one of the best AD's in the nation. You should switch careers, bro. Genius I tell ya.

Obsessed with what? I hardly ever comment in OM threads. I had several posts the other day talking about how dumb it was for State to schedule hard. You must be confusing me with someone else.

Are you sure it wasn't Byrne who set this game up?

He has upgraded jobs, recently, unless you are starting a series @ Troy.

It doesn't benefit State one bit to try to play teams like Oregon, Ok State, etc OOC. LSU, Ark, and Ole Miss aren't too far removed from playing an easy OOC schedule.

LSU 09-Washington, ULL, La Tech, Tulane. Ark 10-ULM. Tenn Tech, UTEP, aTm. Ole Miss 10,11-Jax St, Tulane, Fresno, ULL, BYU, So Ill, Fresno, La Tech.

Ole Miss or State have no business playing anything other than cupcakes OOC right now.

We may lose to Auburn. We may lose to Tennessee. We don't lose to Auburn and Tennessee in 2012.
