Doesn’t seem sad to me.
I’d say the problem has already been solved, too.

her answer was just cold towards the situation, and it just was a poor answer from a coach. A coach is like a politician in that their answers have to be calculated
fricking cry babies. It’s a no win question. Someone would have something to say about whatever she said no matter what it was. Situation is 1000% Griner’s fault but yeah let’s sling some mud at her former college coach.

When she was asked the question a light should have gone off in her head. The correct answer would have been “that’s a sad situation and I hope the problem can be solved soon”. End of quote.
No, the correct answer was how she already answered this same question twice: once in the spring and once over the summer.
There is simply no need for her to comment further.

Because we have the moral high road to accuse other people of being arms dealers...
Pelosi and her ilk can't find it in their dark hearts to approve 5 billion to reinforce our southern border, but we give 40 billion to Ukraine as long as they promise to spend it all with American military industrial complex companies

Team Mulkey
Tired of media treating us like sheep.
We are all "supposed" to think like them.

Team Mulkey for sure.
Minding her business. Nothing wrong with that.

Why do some people feel so important as to impose their belief system onto others, like the rest of us are obliged to comply with their rules?
frick all those bull dykes at Baylor and the others who don't have the required internal makeup to voice opposition to the social bullies that the media rides til they can't any longer stirring the pot.

It’s not mine, but it’s definitely an accurate term.

somewhat similar to some funerals we've seen pictures of

If they don't give a shite, they still better act like they do

In reality another reporter should have spoken up, and called out the prick.
“Why are you asking about Baylor at an LSU PC?”

Maybe LSU should give her some training on dealing with the media in the modern world.
All she had to say is she hopes she makes it home safely and as soon as possible.
How hard is that?
Sad.

Geno Auriemma always supported her.
And, we're right to as well. Obviously, it has become politically charged since the war in UKR started, but she broke a law. Mulkey does nothing to benefit the situation by speaking to it.
Lots of Americans are in foreign jails for the same reasons. I remember the caning of Michael Fay in the 90s for his being a dumbass in Singapore for simple vandalism. That story got huge and became political as well. He still got caned and the world kept turning.

The only way I would support her release was if she was swapped with you to go rot over there.

Let's see...you're a highly visible athlete flying into Russia with drugs.
You get arrested.
Oh...oh. it's a civil rights issue!
