I’m team Mulkey here. You guys see Baylor came after her today?

quote:

”Brittney Griner question sparks complete opposite responses from LSU, Baylor coaches”

LSU women’s basketball head coach Kim Mulkey declined to comment on Brittney Griner’s detention in Russia during a press conference on Monday, sparking backlash from former Baylor players. Meanwhile, current Baylor head coach Nicki Collen spoke at length about the situation, calling it a "human rights issue."

Mulkey, who was Griner’s head coach at Baylor when the two had a falling out back in 2013, was asked by a reporter about her thoughts about the WNBA star’s situation, adding that he had not seen any comments from her regarding the matter.

Mulkey interrupted the question, saying: "And you won’t."

The incident prompted two former players to speak out against Mulkey’s remark.

She was asked this prior in June and April. The reporter likely already had his article ready before he even questioned her.

What exactly is a coach you haven’t played for in 8 years suppose to do or say? Saying nothing is the safest choice as it can’t get you in hot water with university.

I saw this was trending and was surprised how Baylor made a big deal. Shouldn’t have made the national news

yeah...i mean all she had to say is "its a sad situation" and she would have been fine.

her answer was just cold towards the situation, and it just was a poor answer from a coach. A coach is like a politician in that their answers have to be calculated

Dude her situation is weird with BG after she got crucified how she handled BG’s sexuality at Baylor. The media was waiting to pounce on her, easy.

Wrong. This was a hit job.

There was always an angle. Why answer the same question again 2 months later?

People weren’t at an LSU PC to hear about Griner and Baylor.

Only in today’s ridiculous society can you be crucified for saying “no comment”.

The whole “wrongfully detained” bullshite on Griner irks me. She broke the law entering a foreign country. If a visitor broke one of our laws and got jailed, would that be a wrongful detention?

Team Mulkey here

Notice the trend. Refraining from saying anything to offend the elitist divide and conquer schemers is not good enough anymore.

Now you are required to verbalize support for them. We are now all required to participate in pro leftist-elitist propaganda. Maybe the future holds us up as treasonous on that and our property is taken from us and our families.

Much of what we see happening now is a playbook that has been tested throughout history by the British monarchy.

The lgbt used to have a t shirt that said, if you don’t care, you’re a part of the problem. They really do enforce that shite on famous people.

I'm re-reading up on the conflicts in Ireland against the Crown going back more than four centuries and the parallels recognizable from today are staggering.
