What in the heck makes you think they UT would agree to go to the west, and that Arky would go to the east? I think those schools like to be in driving distance to at least a few of their yearly games.

If UT's game with Bama is so sacrosanct that everything else should be put behind it, put their money where there mouth is. Arky moving makes sense so that they can play their rival every year.

You weren't around for the bye week fiasco so ill give you a pass but this is hilariously wrong.

That was a different scenario. We played 6 out of 8 conference teams as they were coming off bye weeks.

That's because Florida needs help selling out season tickets, and LSU coming to town every other year helps.

You are here to flame. Because some unbalance can result is no reason to enshrine it. Vanderbilt shouldn't be rewarded by always getting Ole Miss to play.

Until one day when Ole Miss is a legit program.

Does the fact that LSU was dogshit for much of its history just escape you guys? In 1994 playing LSU very year was a reward. I know, we got to do it. Now every year we play you and are usually going to be underdogs. So dont come crying about things being unfair when your own program is a testement to one of the numerous inherent flaws in your argument.

It's all fun and games until a couple of teams on your schedule have bye weeks before they play you, huh?

Search for one of the dozens of threads about them not playing a NCG outside of the state of Florida. The tenor of those threads is a lot like this one. You guys are so fricking blind it is hilarious. Also, there's like 5 UF posters here.

You have no idea what the frick you are talking about. Sometimes you are funny, but I have to say that when it comes to actually arguing about sports, more often than not, you just fall really, really short. I can't even remember the last time I read a post where you tried to seriously argue something and I thought that you made a good point.

We would be begging for tougher opponents just as much as Bama is begging for tougher opponents now.

Well at least you're open about it.

If we just made the SEC Championship based on division record, this argument would go away. I wouldn't care who we played from the West if I knew that the East record was all that mattered. Just not fair for a team to have an easier path considering how much each game means.

What's funny is TAMU voted against the plan and left its previous conference to escape the influence of the flagship school of its state. Say what you want about Auburn, but they at least are consistent and don't bail on their conference when they don't get their way.

It had nothing to do with scheduling, though.

If by "much" you mean "8 or 9 years" then you're right.

Aggies who think 89-94 is all LSU was pre-2000 are so incredibly ignorant it's incredible.

I've already gone into detail explaining why Tennessee will never be what they once were.

And Im sure you thought A&M wouldnt do much eiher.

There is literally no way to know that. If USC can become strong, Tennessee can again.

Yeah, well, he's been pretty easy to figure-out for awhile now. Those are just two more examples of why I keep hoping they install an ignore button around here one of these days.

The SEC Championship should only be determined by division record anyway.

That's also the last time they were able to handle LSU.
