And through all of that shite while we were lossing constantly to our cross-division rival, I can't remember a peep coming from any other fanbase about putting an end to the rivalry game. Who the hell was knighting for Bama back in our dark days of getting stomped in the mud by Fulmer and those damn hillbilly's annually?

Id still like to hear a sound, logical explanation for how LSU was cheated out of something.

Let's be honest, it's a legitimate complaint.

I like the way it works out. Georgia is a tough team but i'd rather play them than UK any day of the week. It adds character even if more often than not it adds a loss.

LSU has been consistent for 23 years. How much longer do we need to "knight" for a schedule that makes sense?

They haven't been cheated out of a damn thing. They went undefeated in this conference for the first time in school history in '11.

They kicked the arse of every team they played (except the 9-6 win over Bama) - they outscored every team by double digits in '11, including beating the shite out of UGA in SECCG.

That was probably the best season in their football history. Yet many of them wanted to hang Les Miles after the 1/9 BCSNC game and trashed the very QB that helped bring them the best season the ever had.

LSU fans are hard as hell to please. That must be where Saban got his "never satisfied/never happy" personality disorder.

You have essentially decided that everything just is what it is and there is no such thing ad unjust treatment so I'm not going to waste my time because there isn't anything i can say that you will accept. That's fine I guess, but the notion that calling BS on inequitable scheduling is somehow whining is laughable. The goal should be to give everyone a roughly equal path to Atlanta. If you don't agree that should be the goal then more power to you.

What's hilarious about you coming in to this thread and being this dense is A&M voted AGAINST the 6-1-1 plan.

I know. Hopefully by having them type it out they'll begin to realize how silly their faux sense of injustice is.

Again, it's not about our schedule. It's about other teams getting easier paths and thus more room for error

I have decided no such thing, I have claimed that in this instance LSU has not been cheated of anything but perhaps their pride. Now, again, please change my mind by providing a sound argument for your claim.

He's right to a certain extent. It's ridiculous to have a permanent cross-division foe while maintaining an eight-game conference schedule. It hurts teams like Florida, Tennessee, and LSU who play a harder cross-division foe than others and SEC teams can go six years without playing one another in the regular season like Bama and UGA. What's the point of conferences when two teams from the same conference can go that long without playing each other? The SEC needs to go to nine-team conference schedules or do away with permanent cross-division foes for good.

So what? You assume that one, they voted against it for the same reasons you are against it and two, that being an A&M fan prevents me from having dissenting opinions.

I feel like this needed to be repeated.

Yes you have. You troll LSU all the time around here. If we were on the other side of this discussion you would be saying end permanent opponents as well.

So your coach has to prepare his team to play a tough schedule year in and year out - Les has proven he's up to the task (2011) and can get the damn job done when needed.

Yes he can. It's just too bad we'll never know if other coaches can as well.

Please educate us. The real point is you are in here trying to stir up shite. You don't have anything to add and, until now, you didn't even realize A&M voted against the plan. Just admit it. Then no one has to respond to you flaming and the pissing match between those who actually care and aren't carpetbag conference members can take place without your ignorant interference.

That's funny, because only one of those three teams ever whines and complains about it. As a matter of a fact, the other two have stated plenty of times that they want to keep the cross-divisional games. Heck, they even voted for them the last time it was voted on (the only 3 teams to vote against the cross-divisional games were LSU, USCe, & aTm).

Sorry you think that.

Tennessee is shite right now compared to USC and you wont find me complaining about. Beat the teams placed in front of you.
