This will be my last post on this subject, and I'm not taking the stink bait that some of my fellow barners are. That being said, I think this is journalism hitting a new low. It's one thing to accuse coaches and boosters of paying off players, but putting names and pictures of 18-22 year old students and insinuating that they're either putting out or somehow complicity in a pay for play scheme without extensive research is beyond pathetic. As I said before, I worked with several hosts and hostesses who weren't paid for that, but were paid for working jobs like the Student Act. As was posted earlier, no research was done to see if this is what the pay was for, but he still went ahead and put a private student on blast in a very public forum. And please spare me the freedom of the press working for the University excuse...I worked for Auburn as well and still have my anonymity. This wasn't a coach called out. Just ask yourself how you would feel if this was your daughter, sister, friend or girlfriend having her personal information put out there...

Sometimes the best thing to do is distance yourself. You're too close. Open records exist for a reason. An unfortunate fact of life is that sometimes good people become collateral damage...
