LSU is way too high. Should be in the 18-25 range IMO.

Historically, it is lopsided.

In the last 4, it is 2-2, and a team that beat yo uby 35 is returning 18 starters.

Take us lightly at your own risk.

I'd have Clemson at #1. Their defense should be ridiculous next year.

Ever heard of the term Clemsoning?

Quick reminder.

State deserves to be up there imo. 18 returning starters from a 9 win team.

State also lost their head coach. I think State will be good next year and probably end up ranked, but it makes sense why they wouldn't be in a random preseason poll. I still think they'll be ranked in the preseason AP and Coaches Polls. Not that preseason polls really matter, nor are they generally very accurate.

LSU has no business being ranked.

They should be ranked but somewhere in the 20 range, not 13th

State lost the HC and our best player, in most people's eyes, was last seen being carted off with a gruesome injury.
You can't lose to a team the caliber of Ole Miss and expect to garner any respect in the off season

Quick comeback, 2016 national title game.

2015 national title game was tough too. They haven't made the last 3 playoffs for no reason

Wait I thought Mississippi State was unanimously better than LSU.

On the field, yes.

However to the media, nope. Thats why everybody picked LSU to win in Starkville last year only to lost by 30

I like you to do much than 25. He has to lay the foundation this year but he will get some good wins.

Spoiler alert:

Georgia and Alabama both lose their only game to LSU, who wins the West. Alabama drops to #2 and Georgia drops to #7, despite Alabama losing by 10 and Georgia losing by 1. Georgia beats LSU in the SECCG, winning their way back into the CFP. Ohio State goes 12-0 and gets left out over 11-1 Alabama, who beats Georgia in the NCG in a 3-point quintuple overtime win on a 65-yard field goal.

UCF won’t finish in the top 25. Oklahoma will drop to 15-ish.

LSU too high at this point. Defense will be really good but too many question marks on offense to be in the top 15 as of now.

Uh no. He called us by our slave name, and he implied we (and not other SEC teams) would give a shite about them being overrated.

He was throwing out bait that no one bit on.

Is it just me or does it seem like LSU has been preseason #13 for like 5 of the last 6 years?
