Josh Reed
Doesn't get enough love on lists like this.
Dude was an absolute beast, and while the game definitely had more passing during the early 2000s than, say, the 70s... it wasn't the absolute passfest it is today it feels like.
Reed definitely deserves some recognition.
I'll add Tyrone Prothro for consideration. If ever there was a career we'll never know for sure just how great it could be due to injury, it's his. That catch against Southern Miss is still one of the all-time greatest plays.

The widest receiver since 2000 is easily Kelvin Benjamin.

This is weird. It's weird that you do this.

One of the best was Jordan Matthews at Vandy. He was truly incredible.

Sure.
If you want to pretend he won it for being a wide receiver.

He won the Biletnikoff too
It’s not like the season Smith had was something we’ve never seen before but if it makes you feel better to say he’s the GOAT because he won a Heisman in a weird year, don’t let me stop you

The WR thread has yall rattled.
Louisiana = SEC = Wide Receivers = LSU = WRU
It can be proven by simple math.

Chase is my favorite LSU WR...it's always hilarious to remember how he waited until August practice in 2020 and then quit when he saw how sh!tty the team was going to be. Classic.

2020 was a weird year for sure
Pretty much everything that happened that year was retarded

I’m cool with this because he worked his arse off and stayed all 4 years. He has now won the heisman, a national title, and a super bowl. I doubt too many players have accomplished that.
