So we're all in agreement that a&m's best player had a better year than LSU's 3-4th best WR?

Clearly stated in the OP that Speedy was our 3rd option at WR. Behind Kennedy and Reynolds

Reynolds is the only one that belongs in the discussion given the context

And Dupre did more than show that a freshman receiver can do well in your offense.

Travin Dural 12 37 758
Trey Quinn 12 17 193
Malachi Dupre 11 14 318
John Diarse 12 13 199

well Speedy was statistically your 2nd best receiver and only had 3 less catches than Reynolds

Trey was too busy riding the bench after dropping away the Bama game

I never said Speedy was your best player.

he had 44 receptions compared to Reynolds 47 and Kennedy's 46

that doesn't sound like a 3rd option. That sounds like 3 guys who all get the ball thrown their way a lot.

Now, was this the guy who spent the LSU game gazing at the Texas Thanksgiving night sky?

Its a team sport, coach. Quinn did enough for his team to win the game. Speedy did not.
