Several recruits have said they are very pleased with the new staff and confirmed UT as their leader. And yes, that also includes and LSU recruit from TX. That is in a few short weeks. Once settled in, things will be back to normal, kids wanting to support THE state school and fulfill their dream and A&M picking up the leftovers. Sorry bud, all things equal, UT is much more appealing, as is Austin over some ranch.

Sad smack talk from a school with a guy who couldn't win c-usa at the helm. Swag does not mean wearing sunglasses at all times to cover up your bug eyes.

No Discipline on Sumlin coached teams....

You mean undisciplined as in 2 starters with a 5star recruit drinking and smoking weed in a handicapped spot, or did you mean a defense that doesn't have discipline and can't stop anyone.

Both are equal AND happening.

Come to think of it, all Aggies are naturally handicapped so they may get off on that technicality.

Charlene Sumlin cares not about bug eyes because her eyes travel further south on monsieur Sumlin's anatomy

I expect the normal ULSU verbal diarrhea, but all the moral high roading in this thread from them has me rolling. This shite is funny.

It's not just the talent level and depth on defense that keep AL and LSU in the title race every year. It's ball control. It's TE's and FB's.

It's converting 3rd and 2 and 4th and 1 when you need it to keep a drive alive. All of this gives your defense a chance to catch its breath.

I told A&M fans when they hired Sumlin that he would have to make adjustments to his scheme to win championships in this league. When your offense relies on pitch and catch to control the ball, there are too many variables. Weather, QB off a little, receiver off a little, etc.

And even when your offense is successful, it scores so quick that the defense gets gassed, and you don't have the depth to stop teams that go toe to toe. Handing off is always going to beat letting go of the ball.

Auburn was successful with a similar offensive scheme this year with one exception. They kept the ball on the ground. They won the SEC this year because Bama's 3-4 has trouble w Auburn and A&M's gimmicky schemes. The 4-3 is better suited to stop them.

In conclusion, if you're really wanting championships at A&M, you better hope Sumlin changes his philosophy to control the ball better than he has.

You just don't get it...everywhere, and I mean everywhere, Sumlin has been had a strong offense with little to no defense. It's his MO.

Example last year, all the firepower in the world and just an average SEC team.. It is just how he operates, it wasn't or hasn't been a one season thing.

Well, when you run a high school, gimmicky offense that's forced off the field quickly when it plays a real defense, and gives the other offense the ball for 40+ minutes, yeah your D is gonna look bad.

all the moral high roading

Where? We absolutely get our share of idiots. We threw a Heisman favorite off the team and it hurt us for years....A&M went under investigation for your candidates actions and you held him on a pedestal for all of his actions!

I stated before the season was over, I hope Speedy goes elsewhere. He has sever character issues. They can be overcome by many kids, but not when they immediately attach to another character problem when arriving at their new surroundings, it is a huge issue.

A&M on the other hand, actually held out the problem for an entire half against some unknown team...yeah, Sumlin is in charge

How any single person at a&M could think there is an once of jealousy from LSU fans is simply dense.

Nah, moral victory is only losing to LSU by 5 points in College Station. Those 44 wins are real victories.

And why are the LSU fans stumbling over themselves to drool all over this thread?
I'm kinda stunned by the reaction.
What's this all about?

Yeah, we really should have condemned Manziel for the horrible things he did.

Like what again?
