There's no way Razorback Stadium is the 8th best looking in the conference.
Our stadium is beautiful inside and out.
I agree. One thing about that stadium you guys need to change though is that endzone with the screen. That big screen is nice and all but this is the SEC man. Close that endzone up and put some seats there. Arky needs to hold about 85,000 at least.

That is one reason in the last couple of years Auburn turned down the opportunity to be on J-P
I thought that every SEC school had to agree to appear on J-P (or whatever it is now) at least once per season, if they were approached by the network. After the first time, then they can decline. At least that's how it used to be.

There's no way it would make it look worse. Both upper decks stretch a little ways into the south endzone. One stretches a little more than the other. The north part of the upper decks are even and don't stretch into the north endzone at all. It's just off balance and if the south endzone is closed it would put it back in balance.
dude...where have u been? that pic is several years old. the decks are even now

Whatever..LSU is old and it looks it. But I think that is what is the most appealing. I would take a big cement stadium with renovated dorm rooms any day over a modern upgraded "generic" football stadium that looks like all the rest in the country.

Your reply has nothing to do with my post. But since you brought it up, based on pure asthetics, Bryant-Denny wins hands down. I love that Tiger Stadium has that old-school look, but it's dirty and badly in need of some repair and renovations. The concourses need painting, the bathrooms are a colossal disgrace, and that chain link fence outside needs to go. That being said, there is no topping its noise and intimidation factor when LSU is winning.

i didn't think any stadium could be as loud (or louder) than TS...then i made the trip to BHG...that guy got it right, that place is fricking loud...especially when they are dropping 50 points on our tigers.

For aesthetics, I am taking Razorback stadium and Bryant Denny. After that probably Samford then Jordan Hare.
For noise I agree that Bryant Denny has been louder since Saban got there than I have ever heard it. Still I think AU, UF, and LSU are the top three and in no particular order. I agree last year's AU/LSU crowd was one of the loudest EVER.

I have sat everywhere in Tiger Stadium except the student section and the lines are the worst of any stadium I've been to. It takes forever to pee in there. The first time I went which was in '98 I saw a guy pee in a bottle.
I should've taken hint.

quote:Right. But Auburn had been getting stuck playing two home games on J-P there for several years, typically one early on and one later in the year.

In 2007 we had played on game on J-P at the start of the season and they wanted the Auburn/Ole Miss game as well. Since we had fulfilled the contractual obligation with the first game, we turned down the second and the AU/OM game was on pay per view.

I didn't realize this had been fixed. I haven't been in TS since '06 and if it was fixed then, I just didn't notice it. I still think it would look better completely closed in on that endzone.

This person has obviously not been to these stadiums....Before you write an article ranking these stadiums, you should attend a game there. As I haven't been to all of them, I can't say but I from my many friends who have been to Tenn...they are ranked way too high

I have. I just don't drink as much before an 1130 game.

I've been to TS during a few of the loudest games on record, but when we snagged that pick-6 in 2003, VH tore itself apart. I was screaming with all of my might directly into my friends ear from about an inch away and he still couldn't hear me when I yelled "We're gonna win!!!". Freakin' loud.
Obviously, the sports Gods heard me and we got bitch slapped.

That list is completely off on a lot of different aspects. I challenge anyone to make a logical argument (including Southern Pigskin) as to how Tiger Stadium is ranked #2 in loudness, and how there are 3 teams more aesthetically appealing than Bryant Denny Stadium, and why Razorback Stadium is ranked 8th aesthetically. No offense and no flame intended towards Auburn fans,Jordan Hare, or other SEC fans...but Bryant Denny and Razorback Stadium are in their own world in terms of aesthetics.
