No, for sure not. Nor Randall Cunningham. Or Cam Netwon. Or Russell Wilson.

Let me help you out by telling you to give up. Ol' Jamey is either a master troll or one of the dumbest people I've ever encountered. It's hard to tell.

Ahh, that's it. Boyd is garbage. He was never comfortable a single game against us, he was so bad, it was sad almost. His numbers were good because he had great playmakers around him, who were black (gasp). I just sent this thread to my good clemson buddy and he said to tell you "you're embarrassing the fanbase".

Boyd played on teams with bad defense, he had a lot more pressure on him to score. Shaw could play it conservative, he never had great stats passing and was awful in several road games.

You are basing your theory that Shaw is better than BOyd on him beating Clemson twice, at home. He never played at Clemson. Both those SC teams were great on defense, and we didn't have a dominant running game. It is a team sport and SC was a more balanced team during the Boyd years.

Boyd beat Va Tech twice in a year when VA Tech made a BCS, bowl game, he beat FSU his first year, he won bowl games against LSU and Ohio State, he beat Georgia, and he won a ACC title.

What is the difference between being a 3r or 4th string qb in NFL, and not being in the NFL at all? he's on the team for his quickness so defense can practice against a quicker QB.

I think is not crazy to believe that somebody who thinks Shaw is better than Boyd and Danztler might be taking skin color into account, given most people don't agree with that.

Clemson had major issues on defense a few years ago, no real big 3rd and short RB, and SC had an excellent defense. None of these things are true now, and we also have probably the best QB in Clemson history now.

But nobody here gives a flying frick about Clemson. Why can your sorry sheep humping taterhead arse not comprehend that and take your sorry goat blowing arse back to the ACCr?

WTF is wrong with you?

I think he is trolling, if so, well done.

you are just a SC fan boy. shaw is better than Boyd and Dantzler. Dylan Thompson was a better passer than Shaw and his win at Clemson was far more impressive than Shaw was in either game against Clemson at home.

Is Dylan Thompson in the NFL now?

you bragging about Shaw for being 3rd , 4th string QB on a bad team. lol who cares about SHaw, he not playing college ball anymore. don't be a groupie

Shaw basically gets most of the credit for those seasons even though it was the defense and RBs that carried the team. He was good enough to win on an overall balanced ball control type team.

If Shaw was so good why did Spurrier start Garcia over him for so long.

ok, well that makes sense. I think he is prototype NFL QB , more so than Shaw.

by the way, Cole Stoudt got a look by San Fran. Do you think Stoudt was as good as Boyd.

Is Shaw better than Tebow?

I think that I'm an objective football fan, I'm giving Dylan credit even though he didn't play weel at Clemson last year. I've complimented SC's defense, O line, and RBs from those good seasons. I just think Shaw was overrated and got more credit than he deserved for the wins.

Clemson would have had losing seasons during Boyd years if we didn't have Boyd or same level of QB. I don't think Shaw could put up that many points consistently.

That Clemson-LSU game was probably one of the best all time games. Boyd's 4th and 16 throw was a dart. That may be one of the most clutch throws late in a game in the history of the game. I don't think Shaw could have made that play.

I view being called a 'troll' as validation that I make decent arguments.

I can prove that I don't live under a bridge though.

I am not Shrek.

I don't care about the rock. This isn't Auburn. We don't get emotional about trees, rocks, eagles, toilet paper, etc.

Does not bode well for SC to see Cooper in a knee brace - and gimpy the first game of the season. FWIW, I like SC and hope they come up big against those mizzoo shitters.

Cooper had cramping going on when he went down. I think the knee brace was precautionary. I'm not sure. I was holding my breath for sure when he didn't get up.

Dudes a baller. Brace needs to come off for big games and hope like hell he stays healthy. He can keep it on when you play the Vols.

SC lost a lot of close games last year. Only Clemson and Florida shut down their offense.

Dylan had better pass stats than Conor Shaw, the GOAT in history of college fball.

Stoudt had some experience so Dabo gave him a chance, but Stoudt didn't start long over Watson. Watson played a lot in the Georgia game and most of the FSU game. He was made the starter after the FSU game. That isn't 'so long'. Say fact based things.

Do you think SC had better WRs than Sammy Watkins, Nuk Hopkins, Martavius Bryant? All doing well in NFL, but were on some of the Clemson teams that lost to SC.
