If Marcus Lattimore had not been injured his sophomore and junior years, would he had won a Heisman?

If he was not injured, would he had been ranked ahead of George Rogers as the all time best USC running back?

Seems so long ago that Lattimore played, but I remember him being very impressive

I think he would have been invited to the ceremony.

He was staging a very impressive comeback his junior year before that Tennessee player dove into his knee.

One of my favorite non-LSU player at the time. He was impressive until he was injured. That sucked.

Idk but if he followed his heart and went to Auburn instead of listening to adults around him then he would've won a National Championship his freshman year, still had fresh legs as an upperclassmen because Dyer was there to share the load until he got kicked off, then could've played in another National Championship his senior year in 2013 when he probably would have won the Heisman... And he would still be playing in the NFL today.

But hey, at least he'll always be remembered in Columbia, SC like Stephen Davis said.

What does that have to do with a helmet diving into and destroying the knee?

We ended his NFL career before it even started.

That probably also wouldn't have happened at Auburn. Just a shame he traded a NC ring, NFL career, and millions just be a hometown hero.

His splits are interesting. He was Heisman material vs UGA. He was average vs everyone else.

Lattimore was a class act. Rooted heavy for the guy, but glad he is in coaching now and influencing young kids. I think he would’ve been a stud in the NFL had he stayed healthy

They called him “The Dawg Whisperer” because his ypc spiked in every UGA matchup. It’s a fact. You can look it up.

2011 would have been his best shot

800 yards rushing, 5.0 YPA, 10 touchdowns in 6 and a half games essentially

i realize he tore UGA's arse up every game, but saying he was "average" against everyone else is a joke

also, his highest yards per carry in a game in each of his 3 years never came against UGA

He had gotten off to a great start his So year leading the nation in rushing for about 5 game, but back to back to back games against Georiga, @LSU, and @Florida had him slowed with nagging injuries. Had he picked it back up for the end stretch instead of the devastating injury, he would have gotten an invite I think. Had he never gotten either injury, I think he would have certainly been in the mix his Junior year and had a good shot to win with the team we had.
