I'd honestly probably claim I almost went to LSU too if I were in your situation. I didn't almost go anywhere else I only applied to USC.

Cheerleading scholarship. Carolina didn't offer them back then. LSU did. But in the end the Garnet and Black in my blood was just too strong to deny.

Are you from SC and grew up a Gamecock fan? That is the only way Garnet and Black could be in your blood - IMO.
