Congrats on your 1-1 record vs the worst team in the SEC.

Seriously, what do USC fans think about this kind of stuff. I know rants can be expected with Martin, but I don't think his players quite deserved it.

That was the first five minutes of the game for both teams.

That has to be frustrating when you can't get the kids to work on their game other than practices

Is it a little harsh? Sure. But it's Spurrieresk in the fact that Martin doesn't sugar coat things. He tells it like it is good or bad and thats the way I personally prefer it.'

Agreed, I grew up a Kstate fan. I was a little upset he left I think he can be a great coach given the right circumstance.

Hold on to him USC.

The realist Gamecock fans know that right now we might just be a stepping stone for Martin to get to an elite bball program. The benefit of that is that the only way we can be a stepping stone is that we have to be good enough for an elite program to want to grab Martin. From there we can hopefully build on Martin's success and make this play to where it is no longer in 'stepping stone' position.

Is it possible that Frank Martin is exibiting signs of "Billy Gillispie syndrome"? (tanking when you leave the program you built)

No. We just suck. The only 2 decent players from last year's roster left after Horn was canned. Another one of our better players in the Horn era was forced out the door by Horn and would've been a Jr. or Sr. this year. And on top of that we've already lost 1 player due to academic issues this season. The cupboard is bare. Our best players are a Freshman, a football player, and a Lithuanian.

It's okay though. We have a good recruiting class coming in for next season. In due time we'll be pretty good under Martin.

meh, I knew this season wasn't going to be great. We've already won more games than we did last year at this point, but Martin inherited a shite storm. Most of our talent left after the last guy was fired.

Martin will do what he does and get in the guys that want to compete. I'm confident about that, but I knew coming into the season that it wouldn't happen overnight.

I'm happy the Frank made the move to the SEC at the same time that we did. I'm not much of a basketball fan, but crazy is still crazy, and a hell of a lot of fun to watch.

Meh.. I see no issue here... the guy is calling a spade a spade. For the basketball program to be a dumpster fire would be a improvement... I thought coaches were supposed to humiliate you and make you challenge your self-worth? Builds character IMO.

Coaches were the original trolls before the internet forum crowd became popular.
