How did Coastal Carolina get to host this tournament?
I mean, they have great facilities. Just seems kinda odd that they’d be the host of a tournament that has a Final 4 team.

Hurricane Maria f'ed up Puerto Rico. Tournament needed to go somewhere. Myrtle Beach (well Conway, SC) stepped up and said they'd take it.

I'm here. The HTC Center is a good venue for tournaments like these. There are a lot of good places to eat right up the road in Carolina Forest and you're about 15 minutes from Myrtle Beach proper. Too bad we look like garbage.

Great sequence by the Gamecocks there. Looked like a sweet assist but Silva had an amazing block. Then 3 on the other end in transition. Need more of that.
